I have never touched a NX2, because I hadn't that opportunity, but I will try this when it comes.

Well, what do you think?

"Ready!?"
I don't know why but I suck major ass at Pump even though I'm pretty decent at DDR.

"o_O?"
Same. I'd like to learn how to play but the PIU NX2 at my college requires a dollar to play so that's looking out of the question.

"I'm honestly pissed off."
I could do 7s and 8s on PIU Exceed easily the one evening I tried it. The machine is also $1 for 4 songs though, so it's more than I want to pay to play charts I can barely read. (flat is worse than vivid)
silenttype01: Kyzentun is never harsh. He says it how it is.

GENERATION 24: The first time you see this, copy it into your sig on any forum and add 1 to the generation. Social experiment.

can't say much yet, we have just screens and intro movie. nothing about the songs etc. I think NX Absolute will be similar to NX2 but done in a more western and flashy way. but I have no idea about new features or songs etc. (except that worldmax will have new countries with loads of new missions - but the question is, is that a parallel worldmax? or it will continue starting on already hard difficulty etc?)

"BACK IT UP BACK IT UP"
So far, the graphics are outstanding. I really don't know anything about the song list yet, other than names. I really need to hear the music before making a final decision. I'd also like to see some step charts too. I play a lot of Zero and NX2, and those were amazing. Hopefully this one gets even better. Smile

I forgot to mention that ANOTHER charts for Starian and Slam = EPIC WIN Green Grin

I remember I used to have a PC version of PIU until my sister let someone borrow it and then never got it back. I could pass 6's and 7's on PIU while only being able to pass 4's and 5's on DDR. Dunno how well I can play PIU now since there's not a machine I know of in the area.

Dude, shut up. Pump is a great game. It has its own outstanding qualities, as do DDR and ITG. Also, so don't bash Pump in Pump-related threads, otherwise you're just begging to get serious amounts of negative ratings, which will then lead to you getting banned. Btw, I read why you hate Pump, and holy shit, your pissed about such small details. Do you realize how difficult the game gets? That's probably why the timing window is a little wider so the insanely hard stuff is a hair easier to manage. And boo hoo if World Max is similar to DMM. If you don't like it, don't play it.

I played NXA, it's a lot better than NX2, the latin songs surprised me, Procedimientos para Llegar a Un Comun Acuerdo and Digan que lo digan are very cool; everyone can play Tell Me now, and Toccata and Blaze Emotion are very cool too. The stepchart to Uprock is very nice ^^ and the new brain shower mode is veeeeeeeery fun XP

the translations were always horrible. (remembers wondering about what the hell is "long knot"....)

anyway I played NXA for a while as well. Latin songs are nice. I think they should have not put in Wa by Lee Hyun Jung. That song was probably the most played one and it does not even have a playable difficulty (I mean CZ12 and NM 9? not really that interesting, still people played it).

It seems that they slightly rerated the songs (and faster z is now a 19 not 20). the new songs with charts 15/16 seem to be a bit more difficult than 15/16 on NX2 scale but well I found Toccata really easy for a 17. Canon X1 or how it is called is erm...I did not really enjoy it. steps aren't that bad as I would have expected but I don't like the remix of the song.

brainshower mode is really crazy. the time given for you to realize what you are supposed to do and actually do it is really short. we played usually 17 level songs so I don't really know if there is a difference in the time given in a song that is let's say a ten.

haven't tried WorldMax as I managed to lost my flash drive-_-.

in overall for me it feels much better than NX2 even though I can't really say why. maybe because I just played it for the first time? (probably not).

"i'm back "
But the arrow skin in NXA is quite weird (kinda using Bevell & Emboss style)

and some of my favorite songs are disappeared Dead

NX2 is better I think than NXA...

I really like this version, because of the new features like BRAIN SHOWER.
Also, I like the new licenses (my fav one is CHOCOLATE).

btw, I plan to get a PIU USB drive as soon as posible.

"Never Gonna (pass) Trim"
Bump (?)

I personally don't care for the NX2 in the Dave and Busters that I go to. However, I'd play Uprock all day if they got NXA. I'd play NXA more than I do NX2, even though that's not saying much. Besides, who wouldn't want to have a good Pump tournament in the Chi, huh?

I personally love NXA from its vivid interface to its quite extensive song list. Andamiro may have taken out quite a few fan favorites (especially from NX) but I believe they added some very unique songs and gimmicks to this release. I too wasn't sure if I would care much for NXA since they took out so many of my favorite tunes, but once I played it I didn't want to stop. I do agree the songs "Come On!" and "Chocolate" should be reworked since they both have the potential to be a little more difficult stepwise than they are. One reason Andamiro may do this is for the sake of having Another charts in the game (like the Another charts for Chocolate). Not every Nightmare and Crazy chart in the game has to be incredibly difficult for me to enjoy Pump. Easier Nightmare and Crazy charts are there to help players who may be making the conversion from four panels to five or those who are just starting out. Without them, they may just give up because the majority of the songs they want to play are just too difficult. In any case, NXA is a fantastic game and will keep all Pump players busy for months to come.
