Okay, since Al hasn't noticed this thread and tried to organize it, I'll post the organizing info here.

Guidelines:
If you're working on a simfile, post saying so. Please, only work on one simfile at a time. I'll maintain a list of who's working on what in the first post of this thread. No reserving songs ahead of time, if you want to do a song, then finish the one you're on quicker (but don't compromise quality because of this).

Just thought I'd say that I finished the steps for "Black or White", :beg::lig::sta::hea:. Unsynced, because I have no sound to sync against, but at least the steps are right. Probably do "Makes Me Wonder" next, I'm just working my way down the list.

Someone else do the syncing, I don't have a good tool for it (just SM), and I've never gotten even a AAA.
I'm fine with doing steps for songs though.

I actually did that deliberately, to make sure somebody was paying attention. >_>
Steps still need to be synced, why don't you join in? You could at least get the bpm and gap right, and I could tell you if it starts a few beats early or late, if you don't have the game.

This is for DDR HP2 not DDRX; you've been a member for almost a year now so I'm pretty sure you know where the simfiles are! Roll Eyes

It's not an official work forum, but you can compare his sm's to the game if you have it.

I did Kyoka-Suigetsu-Row, the heavy chart and I'm working on the other difficulties soon. I'm using training mode, unless there's another accurate way to do it.

pakachu: Training mode seems like the best mode to use. It's what I've been using too.

hellrazor: The .sm's I posted are unsynced, and need to be synced to the songs. Just copy everything from inside the code block into an sm file, and sync it to the appropriate song. If you have the game to make sure it's not off by a few beats, that's even better. I'd do this, but I'm pretty sure my SM is a bit offsync and I'm not good at syncing.

I'll probably do whatever is after D.A.N.C.E. on the songlist tonight.

Well I'm just creating .dwi files, and I don't need the steps to sync. I'm pretty much an expert at synching, and I'm more comfortable using .dwi format. I'm doing the songs in ABC order, so give me a week and I'll have a complete synched .dwi pack of HP2 to use (you should wait until I'm done before creating more step charts, when you have a synched file to work with it will be easier to make step charts and to see if there are any errors). I'm also re-synching DDR X at this same time.

I DON'T have the game, so I DON'T know if a song is supposed to have a half or double BPM, and I can't add in any gimmicks either, so no STOPs. It'll be up to you to add in these things, or let me know what needs to be done and I'll fix it up.

And yeah I have been a memeber here for a long time, but the download links have all vanished with ZIV version 5, someone gave me the link for DDR X simfiles. Plus I'm rather inactive, I just come to leech.
