"MAGGLE"
It's quite ambiguous for a naoki underground song. You should play more DDR.

Thank you so much, Lord Toon!

Anyone played Waverer (Slide mix) from one of the Ultramix 2 song packs? That was a wierd song and it also had some really wierd steps.

Bullseye. That and iFUTURELIST are on a whole different plane of weird than what we're normally accustomed to.
Keep clear... fat man dancing! Seventeen stone and grooving with the best of them Smile

iFUTURELIST sounds like something straight out of an anarchist rally. I do agree, however, that Waverer (Slide mix) screams this.

iFUTURELIST definitely weirded me out at first, but it's one of my favorite DDR songs now. The steps are great, too.

I thought Konoko was pretty odd.

Agreed, although I tend to like the "weirder" songs. Although not quite as weird, the vocal mix of Injection Of Love would be well in the realm of weird.

I liked Konoko simply because it was, for lack of a better term, offbeat. The English version of Injection of Love creeped me out. I prefer the Japanese original better.

In EXTREME2, it was stripped of vocals and the (HINA MIX) subtitle. IN DDR STRIKE, it had English vocals and the title was INJECTION OF LOVE(e). The original version with the Japanese vocals was in Beatmania IIDX 11: IIDX RED.

Uh, that's the ENGLISH version, the one that was in DDR STRIKE, the Japanese equivalent to EXTREME2.

Here's the ORIGINAL version from Beatmania IIDX 11 (ignore the Lineage 2 gameplay)

"DINGDONG♥HEARTS"
Injection of Love(e) better be in the arcades or I'll be pissed.Annoyed

Let's see... this is the weirdest song thread and I have yet to contribute like I said I would. And I'm assuming that if it appeared in a DDR mix that it counts.

Mr.Bassman - how can you dance to that?

CHOTTO KIITENA - How-the-hell-can-you-guys-not-mention-this-one?! Listen to it!! The song goes nowhere! It's as if its teasing you to look for a full version to hear some kind of tolerable melody

HERO (Happy Grandale Mix) - I don;t know why I find this one weird. It might be because it feels to me that a sped up version doesn't suit the lyrics. The original is awesome though.

Saint Goes Marching - I used to be in my high school band (Fiesta-Val anyone?) and hearing this song in this form made me twitch a little. When it comes to remixing classical pieces, I usually frown at it because I used to play them. I miss my mass trombone parts. My runs were awesome. Cry

Petit Love - it's weird...at first. But then it grows on you. I went from disliking it to learning the lyrics Big Grin

YOZORA NO MUKO - this song has yet to grow on me. I think it's because it's not sung in a common key signature

It's not in the arcades, sadly. I was hoping it'd be in SuperNOVA and beyond, but it wasn't.

I now have a challenge for you. Play Saints Go Marching while playing a trombone. You don't have to actually play a song with the trombone if you can't coordinate that while dancing, but you do have to make sounds with it.
