DDR Choice?

Alright I'm picking up a DDR game today, the thing is I don't know which one I should pick up, I mean I enjoyed Max and Max 2 at my friends house, I already have DDR X, I never had DDR Extreme, I played Extreme 2 at my friends house. I had Supernova and Supernova 2, but I don't know if I should get Extreme.

Can someone please help me pick a game.

Don't get Extreme, its arguably the worst one. Best U.S. mix is Extreme 2, imo.

From best to worst:
1. Extreme 2
2. Max2
3. Max
4. Extreme

Extreme 2 may still be sold in stores. You'll have to look for the older games at GameStop or other such places.

North America PS2 DDR :

THey're only bashing DDR EXTREME because of it's user interface and the disability to disable the non-directional buttons for the pad.

The user interface is similar to ULtramix2/3 minus the Groove Radar. Besides, it's a Greatest Hit so it possible can't be the worst.

But like I tell everybody, go for MAX since it's harder to find as time passes, so hunt that one down.

If you like EXTREME for the recognizable songs, then pick it, and from there, buy the ones that aren't Greatest Hits.

...where can i find a place that sells Konamix and DDR for the PSX? (eBay is my only choice, cuz i tried almost everywhere and no place has it...well, not ALL places but you get what i mean)

Extreme 2 was a pretty damn good game, i really never caught on as to how popular it would be...until later on (some people from my school who aren't even in my DDR Club say they would rather play EX2 than SN or SN2...lol)

I too, don't get why people don't like Extreme. I don't mind the interface and I like the songs.

And I know that I'm going to get bashed for this, but I find Extreme 2 really boring... I got bored of it after like a month.

HOWEVER, DDR MAX is still my absolute favorite one!
