Sometimes I listen to Coast to Coast AM on the radio. That show scares the crap out of me.
I know I hear 'Dancing Queen' a lot on the local station out here.

I knew what this was without clicking the link. But I checked to make sure anyway.
I don't listen to the radio much. When I do, it's a station that claims to "play it all", so it's not all current music.

All my radio stations play that song, Love Song, by Sara Bareilles nonstop. I think it's good, but it plays constantly. It's getting pretty annoying.
Oh, yeah, and once they played Baby Baby Gimme Your Love. That rocked.

Umbrella and American Boy are constantly spammed on UK radio. Aw, mainstream music's gone down the crapper since the early 2000s.

Here in NYC, so many songs are overplayed, I feel like destroying my alarm clock. Lil' Wayne's "Lollipop" is played so much, I want to destroy the speakers wherever I'm at. My neighbors upstairs play that song so much, as much as 4 times in 20 minutes. The problem...it's 5 minutes long!!!

yo, at the time when they put this song out, i remember one time when i was riding in my brother's car that we switched to three stations and they had that same song playing at the same time...UNBELIEVABLE >_<But right now, the station here in Tampa that plays the "hits" does actually play the most recent songs, plus other songs from way back when...they overplay "I Kissed A Girl" alot now though, and to me it's getting very annoying...oh and also that one song "Shake, Shake, Shake It" BLAH! >_<

Soulja Boy is proof that you don't need any kind of talent to be in the music industry or to be a celebrity.

The fact that he can make crap like that in half an hour using a DEMO version of some software and get millions, and I spend much, much time making music that no-one's heard of makes me want to kill of all humanity.Post #14 · Posted at 2008-08-13 05:31:56am 15.7 years ago

I agree. It's even worse how people think that he's such an amazing artist. It's pretty clear that nowadays, people don't know what true talent is anymore.

Ugh, I know. Mainstream music was good before most of it was rap and R&B. I used to listen to top 40 radio stations and like most of the songs playing. I can't say that now.

When I listened to the radio every day, it was an oldies station. Stuff from the 50's and 60's. I still like some of it, though I haven't heard it in years.

Shake, shake, shake it...? Are you guys talking about Shake It by Metro Station? I wish that played on my radio station. I love that song.
