It could be worse.
Speed mod on x2 for PARANOiA Survivor MAX with bar, x3 on Xepher with bar, then x3 on Golden Sky with bar while waited the timer to count down completely. (Or think ya better D, After the game of love, Cutie Chaser)

As for myself, I either choose from Love Shine, The shining polaris, SEXY PLANET(From nonstop megamix).

On Extreme it's pretty easy to get a AA because you can get a bunch of greats and a full combo and get a AA. SuperNOVA isn't too bad either, because it has a relatively big timing window and the scoring is reasonable. On both of those machines I can get extra stage from just about anything on Expert so I just do a song I want. Lol.

On SuperNOVA 2, with the harsher timing windows, I have to stick to 8 footers for a sure AA. Doesn't matter anyway, since you need a AAA to get 4 lives on Extra stage. I do random because I don't really like Unreal or volcano. There's always the chance it'll be something I can AAA, right? Haha.

uhm... AA- or AAA-ing volcano will not give you an extra stage.

I use one of the only songs to get Extra Stage in Extreme, call it cheap if you want. But I play Sexy Planet (FNSMM) or Brilliant2U (K.O.G. G3 Mix).

I've yet to get it in SN or SN2. (Stupid Unreal)

There's so much wrong with this.

1st) On extreme a full combo doesn't give you a AA, you have to have 93% dp.

2nd) SuperNOVA's timing window is tighter than Extreme. It's trickier because a AA is now 95% dp, but slightly easier if you break combo since there's no longer a dp penalty for boos, misses, and NGs.

3) While it's true you need a AAA to get 4 lives, it's not the end of the world if you don't get 4 lives, more over it's much easier to AAA songs in SN2 due to a AAA being 99% dp or higher, as opposed to 100%.

I play on a fully unlocked machine so I don't know if you really just have unreal, but theoretically, there could also be Paranoia Hades, Trip Machine Phoenix, NGO, or Pluto Relinquished to get the extra stage as well.

Offline machines can currently use Unreal or NGO (or random) to get Extra Stage.
Also although I haven't tested this (forgot, haha), Jumps Off 1 does not affect your score so you should be able to still get ES without worrying about jumps.

Most of it's not necessarily hardcore, just fast (i.e. 300 BPM). BTW, Candy is Happy Hardcore.

I'm still baffled though why they stick the past tense suffix on there. Pluto relinquished what? Its soul? Pluto has nothing to relinquish. Thus, it's saying you should relinquish yourself to Pluto. Thus the present tense.
(somebody stick in your copy of SN2 JP and translate the info text for Pluto Relinquish, see if it's as awesome as FELM's)

This makes no sense at all.

With the past tense it doesn't imply that Pluto had something to relinquish. It implies that Pluto itself was relinquished. Then the harshness of the song could represent the out of control nature of the abandoned Pluto. (This is consistent with what viper posted.)

In the present tense, it's sort of silly. It's not saying that you should relinquish yourself to Pluto, that's not how English works. The explanation most consistent with grammar would be that it was a command telling Pluto to relinquish. But to borrow your complaint, what would pluto relinquish?

I'll just assume the title is as it is because of an incomplete understanding of english from the author. Having never tarried at the song long enough to see the end of the song's name, I just assumed it was the one that made sense. But that's not possible, because anybody who doesn't know the name is an illiterate moron, right?

Pluto did lose something though. It's planet status.
