I have a ton of simfiles that I created to play on ITG, originally for my brother and I, that I wanna share with you guys and being that I don't have my glasses right now, (as in they're gone forever not just not on me atm), I would greatly appreciate someone being generous enough to put in Layman's terms for me, PLEEEEAAAAASE??? =D

Ok, here's the short version: Post well, be friendly, contribute however you can, whatever makes people think of you as a good user. Don't ask for points, that's a fast way to lose them. Do all that and you should be fine. You need 50 points before you can get your own simfile category on here and start uploading files.

Did you not read the first post? We don't give out free points to users that come here you have to earn them by following the guideline presented on the OP of this thread. Just read the guidelines and you'll have no problems getting to 50pts to request a personal simfile category.

Right, you see that little drop down thingy to the right of people's point scores? That's what you use to give people points. The more points you have, the more powerful your rating becomes. Generally, you get more points by being nice in the forums, not breaking any of the rules, and generally being the sort of person we'd go out for a drink with. Doing the opposite tends to lose you points, though.

Also, asking people to rate you high isn't cool and makes people usually rate you down a bit. Don't do that.

(Also try not to give everyone a +/- 5 rating unless they really, REALLY deserve one. We can delete certain ratings if the staff feels they're a little extreme.)
