I actually did the planet remix of Ballgame for one of my first simfiles too like 5 years ago. =D

I wasnt a ddr fan back then but i did stumble on the fake DDRMAX 3 website once and saw the white theme. I've also seen in many different places that it caused commotion about the supposed "MAX to the XXXimum" by Beta.

I actually like this. I was surprised when I saw Funky sonic World in it that I tried it out. 400bpm of pain, that it is.

I was working on my own Funky sonic World sim for a while, but I put it on the back burner months ago.

this is nice i really like it. its setup well and has a nice selection of songs nice job.

To me DDR started reached it's climax and started going downhill after 5th mix, but that's just me hehe. I've always admired nDDRo's work, I'll definitely get this later today.

It isn't letting me download it. I tried making a new copy of stepmania 3.9, but it won't let me without deleting most of the stuff on it. Can you make a new stepmania without destroying the old one? If so, how?

This feels like beware's EXTREME 2 takeover.

I had to reinstall SM because it overrode the entire program to be exactly like DDR EX2. That's probably the only thing keeping me from trying out your stuff.

That and SMpackage doesn't recognize it for some reason.

And I felt that SuperNOVA was a big step in the right direction.


Go into your program files and rename the "StepMania" folder to something else like "SM", then re-install Stepmania.

kyanyo, install stepmania 3.9 again. it'll ask you to delete your previous installation, click yes. just close the uninstall menu that'll come up. the stepmania 3.9 install will ask if you'd like to continue even though you didn't uninstall the previous stepmania, click yes.

felmdemon, if smpackage isn't working right, just rename it to .zip and extract everything manually to a blank stepmania folder. that's weird, though. it worked fine for most people i've talked to.

if you don't want to make a blank install and just want to try out the songs, just rename it to .zip and extract them and the randommovies manually on your normal stepmania install.

thanks to everybody that appreciates this. i'd like to clear up that ddrmax3 is ken's project that he and friends have been working on for a long time. i only provided lots of graphics and a couple steps. the theme is edited from one of takuya20's stepmania themes with permission.

If you're running Windows Vista, you have to "unblock" the file so that SMPackage can recognize the file. To do it, right click the file, and go to properties. At the bottom of the properties window, there should be an option saying "This file came from another computer and is being blocked to protect your computer" (or something to that effect). Click Unblock. Then extract. Or follow what titln suggested

Really? That happened to me too. I thought that maybe it was just my computer.
