EPIC BULLSEYE WIN.

Anyway, on Thursday, I was at Alton Towers (4 DS machines, 3 EM1, 1 EM2). All £1 for 3, but oddly enough for the UK, the pads were great! Anyway, after riding Oblivion, I found the EM2 machine. I picked The Reflex. It may have been the heat, but I must have forgotten where I was, as I ended up singing along to it, whilst a crowd of about 10-15 people had gathered. The sight of a stick-thin 17 year-old guy singing along to an 80s classic whilst playing DDR (and getting a good FC while I'm at it) would probably be the most awesome sight possible.

And then I played MAX 300. Bad idea when the temperature's around 25C.

Where is the EuroMIX2 machine? I believed they had nothing but 4 old, overpriced EuroMIX ones?

Sounds like a dream I once had. Smile
I often sing along when I'm at home, and last time I went to the Troc I sang a bit to My Only Shining Star. If I know the song I do get the urge to sing along. It's a curse I'm afraid, to fill the air with my awful voice. Laughing Hard

Yes, that's why I often stick to Difficult especially at arcades to limit myself so I don't get too knackered. It's not very impressive but it's still more fun for me that way.

The EM2's at the Oblivion arcade, right next to an EM1, so you can point and laugh at them and tell them that you're playing on a better machine.

It seems so strange yet. But just last Sunday, I played DDR SN2 again in SM Mall Of Asia when a Korean nationality played SN2 started to play when I asked him to let me join so he accepted the offer. Hehehe, that's my first time to play DDR with a foreign nationality. I konw it's really embarassing for me but I show my real talent in that. I also even assisted him to every options he choose...

Saw a "show-off" played Sakura Heavy on x8, reverse, mirror, stealth, boost on with his back facing the screen.

Grabbed everyone's attention, and totally ruined our mood to practice any new songs for the day.Annoyed

Though x8, reverse, stealth and boost would have been pointless, considering he was playing backwards!

hm...
Maybe the timing window changes a little with the speed mod.

I felt that way because I got way more perfect with speed mod.

But it was pointless to have speed mod, boost with STEALTH even facing the screen to play.Laughing Hard

"Ready!?"
And playing Mirror is kind of lame if you're going to play backwards.

I guess, since it's the same thing as playing Stealth. Now if you play backwards WITHOUT Mirror, that would be something.

That's what you call knowing the steps backwards and forwards.

"o_O?"
Not really.

If you memorized the song with the Mirror Mod, you can still Stealth it.

I just got back from Canada. I found an ITG2 and a DDR SN machine.

The ITG2 machine worked very well. The SN machine had a bad 2nd player pad and the 1st pad sometimes lost Freezes. I did manage to pass SAKURA Heavy and PARANOiA -Respect- Standard on it though.

Playing backwards with Mirror-Mod is like playing normally with slteath, which is why it's kind of lame.

I've played Sakura Heavy, Last Message Heavy, Dance Dance Revolution Challenge, MAX 300 Heavy, MAXX UNLIMITED Heavy and The legend of MAX Heavy all in 8X + Stealth. Final result AA for each one of this songs.

Mmmm ... when I use [8X + Sudden + Boost + Reverse + Left] for Last Message Heavy and Sakura Heavy, I get 2 miss almost everytime Neutral

A friend can pass Afronova Heavy, PARANOiA Rebirth Heavy and PARANOiA survivor MAX Challenge with a shirt masking head, hiding face and rank AA Dead

Pretty amazing, although that alone doesn't make it such a feat. It's not that hard to see through a t-shirt, especially since the arrows aren't exactly small.

Playing backwards on mirror is a better way to engage an audience.

The other mods are indeed useless, but they look cool on the results screen. You can say you 6 optioned a song.

Lol, the only thing we have in Canada (or at least Ottawa) are ITG2 machines and SNs. Theres actually an ITG machine like 2 mins from my place but its on r16 so I have to take the 1 1/2 hour bus ride. Its actually rare to find an Extreme machine in playable condition. Although I hear Toronto has a IIDX Red. Annoyed

Extreme machines is becoming rare just about every where. When I 1st started playing DDR, there where about 4 Extreme machines in my area. Now there's one left, and it's in a theme park, So it's only opened in the summer.

That and SuperNOVA 2 is about a mile form it.Green Grin

The Extremes here simply disappear...or relocate, I don't keep track. Whatever the case, that means less dancing games close to my home.

There's not even other Bemani close by. Mad
