Dancemania

Another Dancemania album. As always, i'm excited. As a huge Aqua fan, i feel Cartoon Heroes would be too predictible. But i like the suggestion of Roses Are Red, it's an amzing song. But My Oh My would work, too. Maybe one of their newer songs, like Back To The 80's would work. We'll see

Correct you are. I was not aware of that (I'm actually shocked that i didn't know that). Okay then.................how about replacing Roses Are Red as an option with Around The World? I'll have to look to see if that's already on one, though. Learning something new everyday, i suppose

Personally, I'd be fine with the Radio Edit of Roses Are Red, the one on ZIPmania BEST. Actually, I'd be fine with Barbie Girl again, even. I just hope they don't use Butterfly from SMiLE.dk (maybe Boys?). We've had enough Butterfly.

I think Run Away sounds like more of a Dancemania song. The DJ Tora version of Another Night being on the Dancemania anniversary CDs was really more of a knee-jerk reaction to it becoming so popular in clubs at the time. If they're actually trying to make a "90s European Dance Thing", then I can't see why they'd use the original Another Night. Most Japanese clubbers only know it as a being a DJ Tora song without any vocals.

Roses are Red, Boys, Another Night, predictable but I enjoy those tracks. Though once again this turned into another edition of repeatmania, with some intensely overused Dancemania licenses appearing as usual, but I guess compared to Sparkle this holds up as something new-ish. New Pandora song, though, like Sparkle.

Please please please EMI, remove Boys and Jump. I can't stand those songs anymore.

Not bad, while there are a lot of Dancemania repeats, Baby Boy is a good pick since it was only on Dancemania 1 and never repeated, and there's a good amount of new tracks as well. Looking forward to it!

Album is out now! Mixed by Mitsugu Matsumoto from MST and Mocchi from Akiba Koubou (same team from Sparkle CLASSICS). Also, ROSES ARE RED is technically new, since only the (very different sounding) RADIO EDIT was ever on Dancemania (specifically, ZIPmania BEST).

Oh nooo, I hate the original Roses Are Red. Oh well.

CM is out.

Just listened to it. The first part is awful, when a song ends they just skip to the next one in an instant, but it gets better to the end. I really liked the transition from Another Night to I Believe in Miracles, too bad the rest of the album is not as memorable as that part.
Oh well, see you next year for Party 2!
