If Crock Band dies, no loss. Played it for an hour or so with a friend, didn't see any songs I liked, and I was essentially playing deaf. No music to guide me to hit on beat. Sill got ~95 on easy drums on the songs we played (except the one where I dropped a stick, got a 92 that time). Would have done medium or hard, but my leg didn't like the foot pedal, because I'd spent ~4 hours playing ITG before hand.
Also, if the rumors of Konami making "Crock Revolution" are true, then I really don't have any problem with Crock Band dying, as Crock Revolution will probably have better songs.

It still bothers me how Guitar Freaks came first, yet the copycat is enjoying more mainstream popularity. GF isn't even mentioned in the article, which is even more annoying. I can tell you now that Rock Revolution is going to bomb.

Well, there's the whole matter of the user interface to get past with Guitar Freaks/DrumMania... it's user-hostile. Granted, it gives more options than any of its competitors for modifying gameplay, but still...
As somebody who plays both Rock Band and GF/DM, I think Konami has a weak case, but I don't see this going to trial. From the sounds of things, Konami basically threw the lawsuit out there to speed up negotiations over licensing, and the whole thing will probably blow over in a couple of months.

Agreed; it just looks like Konami wants to remove some of the competition for their "Rock Revolution". Kind of a dumb move though.
