Yeah, I thought that was quite lame too.

I had a feeling something like this would happen, ever since the minute Rock Band was announced.

So, as far as I can tell, Konami actually has a case here (I've been reading the Rock Band forums on this, which is filled with 12 year olds who watch too much Law & Order talking about 'precedents' and other legal terms they hear on TV).

If GH felt the need to pay (I mean, they do pay Konami for using the patents right) then certainly Rock Band should have figured they needed to as well.


Ahahahahahahahahaha. Yeah, 16 pop'n musics, 16 IIDXs, 11 DDRs, and...however many with GF/DM...and that's only counting the main series, bemani has totally failed to sell at all.

Also, Latino pop=lol.

Looks like this is the same thing that happen to ITG. If Konami wins this, It could be the death of Rock Band & possibly Guitar Hero?
