No ONI charts from the Ultramix/Universe games made it to DDR X AC, including murmur twins. The other charts, however, are intact.

The 'funnest' chart I've ever played from the XBOX games.

DanceDanceRevolution X Europe Report (2009-05-23)

This time, for the HDX:E:A:A:2009050700 software that got updated a few weeks back.

I had a song checklist printed out ready this time to see which songs have been removed and so I can take notes so I can build up a report. You can check out the two sheets of A4 I had here all filled out:

Ignore the bit about SUPER STAR and TLOM, I missed them out of the list by mistake. Ignore Dream Machine as well, as that's an e-AMUSE unlock that I only realised I put it in after printing it.

SABER WING (AKIRA ISHIHARA Headshot mix), on the bounce and Trigger once again could not be confirmed due to the fact it is very hard for anyone here to AA a level 15 or higher on a laggy screen and pads that you can't really hear.

OK going through sheet 2 notes point by point:



X-Specials are confirmed to be present in this build with the methods listed on the first post of this thread to be working 100%.

The screen lag remains unfixed so the arrows are very difficult to time just like the previous software version.



The graphical glitches are still not fixed, with the number of credits hiding behind the text and the game telling player 2 to press the player 1 start button.

HOW TO PLAY is now changed so that it is now in English.

E-mailing the location so they could fix the 1P DOWN ARROW have resulted in them making the 1P RIGHT and 2P LEFT arrows too sensitive so they become stuck from time to time resulting in pad misses. Hence why I put 1P→ and 2P← fucked, cos they are.

The difficulty glitch where you can double tap up or down to change difficulty and then immediately scroll up or down the list to play a difficulty which you are not meant to, is still not fixed. When the difficulty glitch is used on On The Break, the songwheel text colour goes blue when you scroll on the song and returns red when you scroll out of it.



Here, you can see we glitched the EXTRA STAGE and ENCORE EXTRA STAGE. On The Break was played on the DIFFICULT difficulty to get the EXTRA STAGE on DIFFICULT difficulty, but we then glitched it so we could play SABER WING on EXPERT. After that, we get to play ENCORE EXTRA STAGE on EXPERT difficulty, but we then again glitched it so we could play Horatio on CHALLENGE difficulty.

DYNAMITE RAVE remixes and END OF THE CENTURY are confirmed to be removed from the game. DYNAMITE RAVE and it's AIR Special still has the new vocals.




Credits still has the copyright dated 2008, yet the title screen has the copyright dated 2009.

The announcer now says "SINGLE PLAY", "VERSUS PLAY", "DOUBLES PLAY" as well as announcing the character names when you hover over them. He did not announce those in the previous version.

MARVELOUSTAR is annoyingly still turned enabled although the "stars" are not assigned or counted towards anyone's e-AMUSE account and the fact the machine is on LOCAL MODE.

COURSE MODE has CONCEPT COURSES up to "Unrestrained Timing" and DANCE DRILL COURSES up to DANCE DRILL LV5.



When in REHEARSAL MODE and a player happens to choose a song with CHALLENGE only difficulty, the player with REHEARSAL MODE will actually play the CHALLENGE chart but with CUT (ON1) forced on, so the player only gets to hit the 4th arrows, although this isn't a major problem on songs such as DYNAMITE RAVE("AIR" Special).

The life drain when you miss an arrow is the same from 1st STAGE all the way to FINAL STAGE. Or in other words, the penalty for missing an arrow is the same in all stages up to FINAL STAGE.



Another thing I would like to point out that the design of the beta cabinet is so bad that you can see the KONAMI LED light circuit boards in plain sight. The LED lights do not even work.

Overall, it just goes to show, that they have not fixed much in this new software update other than HOW TO PLAY is now in English, so it was rather disappointing to say the least.

This is one of the reasons why i think/DEMAND Konami to make Vol. 1 with all the songs that were cut off of DDR X appear in the game to balance it out...somewhat

My friend is going to be so pissed, END OF THE CENTURY is his all time favorite.

Same with Look to the Sky. LTTS Cyber (True Color Mix) got the boot in EMPRESS only to face the same fate.

This sucks man, Vol. 1 BETTER have some (if not all) of these classic songs, then it will at least suffice the cuts...

lol i would say "same here" but it just doesn't bring back the MEMORIES of me playing LTTS...*sigh* As time moves on, changes occur that cannot be stopped.
