This is a new game outsourced to another developer made in a similar style as Guitar Hero and Rock Band.
You will most likely not see ANY Konami Originals in this game and lots of classic rock covers for people who pretend they're into that. So don't kid yourselves about your favorite Kunitakie Miyuki songs being in this.

No DDR announcements, this is it as far as music games go.

True..but you'll have the makers of GH & Rock Band going crazy on Konami thinking they made the whole "guitar & drum music" game first

Konami should be untouchable, lawsuit wise, for this game, seeing as how Guitar Freaks and Drum Mania came out before Guitar Hero or Rock Band.

I find awkward, that Konami didn't use Bemani at all, in this game. Considering Bemani has made 15 GFDM, at least that Charts could have been made by Bemani.

I have to say that the drum kit looks terrible. So much plastic. And why no vocals? Especially given that they have Karaoke Revolution, you would have thought they'd include vocals in the game. I think Konami, Harmonix and Activision are going to burn everyone out on music simulations, especially ones that involve expensive (and likely incompatible) peripherals. If that hasn't happened already.
