Introduction Thread

Hello! My name's Tony and I've just registered here.

I'm 18 years old and from Switzerland. I'm a passionate rhythm games player, playing or trying different rhythm games from beatmania to osu! My first Bemani game was actually beatmania Europe for the PSX. My parents bought this in a s tore because it had no box and was therefore 5 Chf. I started to love this game. Later on I played DDR on my Xbox and found Stepmania for the PC. I played this game a lot and even went online, though I never was as good as most keyboard players. I still remember having downloaded lots of Simfiles, had the Cyberia Style 4 theme and yeah, playing.

I still play rhythm games from time to time, like iPad games Groove Coaster or for the PC osu! and on the 3DS Theatrhythm Final Fantasy. But I stopped playing DDR. Just last week when I was in London and went to the Trocadero I found Dance Dance Revolution X. I've never played any real DDR Arcade cabines so this was really fun. I already could play difficult ones with up to 8-9 difficulty. Now back at home I bought two dance pads and installed Stepmania on an old Mac PowerCube. While I was trying to find Simfile directories, I found this site. So here I am writing this long text about me.

Other facts, I also like video games in general like Racing, Jump 'n Run (especially Sonic), etc. I'm still a student and try to learn programming. Talk in English, German, Croatian... and French reaaaally badly.

Ok, i'm not the best with intros, but here goes nothing!

Hi, my name is Catie Silver, and i've been a fan of DDR/rhythm games for a long time now. Right now i'm working to become a nurse or possibly a teacher, whichever seems to be the better choice for me down the line.

I am an open lesbian, and i'm working with a small group of people to help others who are criticized for being openly gay. Right now i'm currently in a relationship with a fellow member, xXMokou98Xx (Ayumi), who has been a blessing to meet. I feel a lot more confident now than I did before thanks to her, she's kind of like a role model to me as to how people should be.

Hello, everyone. I'm waterdraik346 (but feel free to call me WD). I've been lurking around this site for almost 9 months, which is normal because I am shy most of the time. I discovered this site in late 2011 while looking for simfiles. So far, I am loving this place.

Background:

I've been living in San Bernardino County, California, ever since 2010, even though I am of Filipino descent. I've been a fan of DDR and other rhythm games ever since 2009, but I recently decided to play at the arcade (I live in a two-story apartment so I can't play at home). Because of DDR, I also discovered many other Bemani rhythm games like beatmaniaIIDX and jubeat, although I can't play them, so I enjoy their music instead.

Other games I like are fighters (Tekken anyone?), marble-popper games, match-3's, and simulators.
