As you all know, I've been doing 12's and 13's at lower speeds, to compare them. Even slowed down, these things are vicious beasts. At half speed, they cover the 9 range. At 0.7, they're comparable to easy 10s. I'm just curious to see if anyone here agrees with me that a slowed down 12 or 13 is a similar achievement to a full speed 10.

Not tried this before, but I see your logic there. Determinator's 24ths at 0.7x = 308 BPM 8ths.

A 12 at 0.7x speed would be about a 9, while a 13 at 0.7x speed oughtta be a 10 or a hard 9.
I mean, consider what Oni-91 said. Determinator only has 24ths at some parts, certainly less than half the song. Those arrows would be about equivalent to those of MAX 300, and since only some of the song is as fast as MAX 300 (as opposed to 600 BPM stuff throughout most of the song), Determinator on 0.7x should be a medium-hard 9.

Isn't that what Max300 is? Some small eighth streams with longer streams thrown in? So it would be the same difficulty.

Yeah, Determinator 0.7x isn't that hard, but would you see streams like the 24ths in any 9? And don't point to PHE, that's not a 9, no matter what Konami thinks. I'd say Determinator 0.7x is a 10, since I haven't seen streams like that in any 9. Just because it doesn't maintain 10 intensity the whole time doesn't mean it isn't a 10.
Pandy 0.7x though, seems more like an 11, simply because the long streams are so draining. Sure, they're slower than any 10, but they'll still drain you like an 11.

I'd call Determinator 0.7x an ITG 9. Same as how I'd call Pandy 0.7x an ITG 10. They'd probably be one level higher in DDR though.
