-use on stepmania-
1.use TV video card to record a movie, then use power director or other to cut the sound.
2.use TMPGEnc to cut the upside and underside.
3.use WinAVI to transform the form. (MPEG to AVI)
4.put the movie in the song package, then start the stepmania
5.(in stepmania) enter edit course and choose the song.
6.when you enter the song edit, save it immediately. the song package will have new file. (xxx.sm)
7.enter the option and choose "Reload..." .
8.when all is done, don't forget to adjust the BGCHANGE.

you know i was thinking of doing this
but i don't have the programs to do it. besides, yours are much better than what i could do. is it possible for you to host these somewhere so they can be seen with higher quality?

Awesome work, I was looking for something like that since a long time. Could you upload as AVI and .sm the songs on your first post in this thread please?
I remember that usually on extra stage since SN2 the face of the character you are using randomly appear on a side of the screen. Any possibility you could record similar videos with those?

Anyone made successful the conversion of the flv. from youtube to avi.? When i did it for the firsts four links by 480 x 360 I didnt was able to make it read correctly by stepmania once I did the BGchange all the screen stayed black all long =S (even they were played correctly by realplayer and other player as wlm or vlc)
