AAA #1245 - Daikenkai Challenge Double


Almost got Across the Nightmare Challenge Double. For some reason Volcano on double is giving me trouble (I can't get the syncing). I tried Unreal and did better on that on double, but I am still a ways away from getting that. I tried Legend of Max on Single Expert but the runs near the end were getting me; just a bit too quick to be consistent (for me).

Well I have been pretty busy this week with another project I am working on so I didn't have any time to play during the week. Its important that I get this project finished now before I move back home so I have been pretty busy working on that (I might post later about it).

Anyways I decided to go to Gameworks today... er.... Yesterday to play X2. Got there played a few of the new songs and nearly left the building right after that. Why? Because the pads were in the worst shape possible. I was in complete shock when I went and played today. ALMOST NONE of the panels worked. I can't believe that the machine has gotten this bad. Its almost like a joke. And dont be pointing your finger at Gameworks about this... They have been trying to order sensors... Its actually Betson's fault for creating such shitty sensors.

Sigh... Anyways since gas is now $4.19 I decided to at least make my trip meaningful. Screw X2... There was no way I could even touch that again for a while. So I had two choices... X or SuperNOVA.... hmm... SuperNOVA obviously. Accomplishments today on SuperNOVA...

-R3 (Expert) - 1 Great
-Orion .78 Amuro Mix (Expert) - 3 Greats
-HUNTING FOR YOU (Expert) - AAA


I also decided to play Maximum Tune 3 again. I forgot I already beat it twice... and am now starting my third play through on it. I am happy I at least left with one AAA today. It made my trip at least meaningful and I was happy at least I got one perfect score this week.

As for more X2 scores... I don't think its gonna happen for a while guys. The pads are just in god awful shape. I wish I could show you or you could play on them to get what I mean... But almost all the sensors are dead and only one sensor in each panel is struggling to work. Next weekend I might have to take a long trip out of state so I might not play at all, but if I will play it will be SN2. If for some reason X2 is fixed I will go back, but until then its not worth the gas money to make a trip out there.

As for other scores on older games... I might play again this week. I think I might pop in 3rd KV2 again and get some stuff done on that mix.

Oh my, gas hasn't gotten that high in Ohio yet, but I'm sure it will. Which is pretty much the new reason as to why I will not have many arcade videos.

I feel dumb and shitty now. I've been messing around with my photobucket recently trying to organize things more and it turns out that by moving photos to another folder has broken all of my previous links.

I think I could understand that, however, and this is the part thats making me feel shitty, it seems as if I've lost all the titles to my previous photos as I typed something before but now its gone. What gives? Seriously, why would it delete the titles I put in before? Does anyone who uses PB know why it did this and if there is anything I can do?

Keep it up and keep trying to challenge your self. I remember the first time I barely passed Max 300 with a C at my home on Ultramix 1. haha

Anyways, 2 other things I wanted to mention.
First, regarding this photo.


All 6 of those scores you see there are PFC's. In fact, the last SEVEN times I played Max 300 they were all PFC's. Unfortunately the 8th time is the last photo I posted where I choked hardcore with only 17 perfects.

Also during Hades I dont know how but I managed to Combo the entire ending including the 8th note jumps at the end. I was really excited about that.

lol no. That would be really hard to do, although when I usually do get a great I freestyle. I got the great at the end so there was not really a purpose to do the last 50 or so notes.

So I have had an okay week with DDR scores I believe.

Started off this week with my one project finished (I upgraded my DrumMania machine to DrumMania V4) so I decided to go play DDR as well as my new game.

I started out with a pretty rare SSS/AAA and moved onto something even more rare after this one...

Strictly Business (MANIAC) SSS

and then I got this...
HOGISIM (SSR) SSS

This is by far the rarest AAA I have achieved. In fact I can't even find any gameplay videos let alone pics or AAA's of this song anywhere!

I was trying to AAA a few other songs on 3rd Mix but haven't had too much luck.

I played 3rd KV2 on Tuesday (SSS Strictly Business), EXTREME on Wednesday (See below) and 3rd KV2 on Thursday (HOGISIM SSS) so its been a sort of weird week for me. Here are the AAA's I got on Wednesday...

Because the pads were in such bad shape I AAA'd only easy stuff. X2 is now destroyed at Gameworks so I cant go there until its back up and running.
