This game was definitely worth it.

I didn't realize there were so many options! There's the new Shake Mode, Game Mode, and Training Mode, as well as Game Options, Information, etc.

You should try the Stomp Mode out. You put the device on the ground and stomp on it to hit the arrows.

You can only play Lesson by DJ in Shake Mode. Disappointing.

Sad to report the steps for A Geisha's Dream (Ruffage Remix) are just copy/paste from the original, with a few nonsensical additions. Blatant copy and paste, and the slight changes are just copies from the Difficult chart. I can't believe it. The original chart fits the original song much better, and it just makes me want to play the original and forget about this one.

This is a fun game, but I firmly believe it was handled by the HP2 team. The banners for the new songs are ugly (the NAOKI logo isn't used. Why? The banners are also wrong; it should be NAOKI feat. DDT/Fracus, not the other way around, if the official site and song wheel are to be believed). There is no banner for A Geisha's Dream (Ruffage Remix). Why does it use the original's? The steps still show that whoever wrote them has no grasp of good step placement or how to follow a song. SAY IT AGAIN looks good, I guess, but the placement is really bad at the end and there's still a lot of "what am I following?" sections. I don't mind those (Freeway Shuffle was fun), but they're just weird here. Rescue Me being a nonsensical copy and paste of MEMORIES doesn't help.

Maybe I'm just spoiled from the X steps. Was this acceptable a few years ago? rain of sorrow is awkwardly written but I still love it. You know, nothing can really ruin it, SAY IT AGAIN is still fun, I just find the copy/paste of Rescue Me and A Geisha's Dream (Ruffage Remix) unacceptably lazy.

Not much could make this game not fun; it's DDR on a touch screen. But the three exclusives (well, two of them at least) kind of make me glad there weren't more of them.

Hey i got a question

The last thing i unlcocked was Rescue me, and since then i havent unlocked anything. Just as a side note ive played at least 25 songs since then and still nothing.

I was sondering if anyone had a guideline for unlocks or can help me in any way?

If you played that many songs, then:

1. That's probably it for the unlockables.
OR
2. Try playing different modes.

Do you have 25 songs total? That's all there is.
I unlocked Rescue Me pretty early, but maybe it's random.

For me, songs usually happen ever 6-9 songs played.

It seems the unlock order is random then; I unlocked Touchin' after unlocking Heavens and the Earth, so who knows. I don't have all songs yet either.

Nope I think we might actually be done with that phase, which kinda sucks for the stepmania aspect

HP2 and one of the X stages have video clips in the background (which I think is a nice touch displaying Extreme clips), so I don't see why they can't flash wallpapers there. But that's a pipe dream by now. The closest thing we have to backgrounds is the "album cover" banner at the start of a song on UNI3.

Oh well, they're moving on to other things like dance routines.

Solution: The generic background resembles a stage from the game.

NM style.

I doubt we'll ever see the original. It seems to me that NAOKI, as of late, has been making incomplete songs and sending them off for others to remix; so many HP2/FFP songs are just remixes of songs he made, and the originals are nowhere to be seen.
