Yes, the highest I recall are Mei (730), PRevo (753), and VD (712).

Oops I just checked and yeah previously PARANOiA Revolution and 888 tied for 1st place at 753 combos.

The middle was severely disappointing. It was the most climactic part of the song with pretty much the same steps as difficult. I assume there's a challenge chart coming to remedy this, but at that point, the rest of the song is probably going to lose its flow and become all double tappy and not fun.

I wonder if this one will remove songs like what some of the other current BEMANI games are doing now.

No I think he means a la jubeat saucer's crazy method of removing licenses and current KONAMI originals for events/just because. That is a scary thought to consider, but so far saucer is the only BEMANI game that does this, if DDR 2013 follows suit well...I don't think this game is going to go as far as it can, but I highly doubt it, this was simply a flub that Konami made, so it's reasonable for them to remove this song, though this it does show that they CAN remove any song at any time of they wanted to, but like I said, highly doubt they can actually do this unless the license expires and whatnot.

so clarification if you don't understand my post:
-I know the only BEMANI game that's removing songs ridiculously is jubeat.
-The only probable reason for removing songs in DDR is license expiration AFAIK, current KOs will probably stay for a long time.
-The reason why jubeat removes song weirdly is stated in that post (online matching, if you're too lazy to read).
-DDR doesn't have online matching.
-I linked that post so people would know why jubeat is removing songs and not think that every single BEMANI game would remove song randomly (btw why did you guys not think like this regarding DanceEvo/SDVX).

So yeah.

RB Collette removed a few songs for its Spring version. All licensed songs from the original game.

That's exactly what I was thinking this will be like. When a new semi-version comes out, then we might get a few license removals. But I think we can rest easy until then.

What's the difficulty level on that chart? I think it might be hard enough to warrant an 18, given its step count being higher than two other 18's.

Well, due to memory constraints, songs would have to be removed at some point.

Zoayjx, which heavy chart? I think silver said Elemental was a 17, but he might have been guesing (and I am guessing that is what you're talking about).

I feel like the combo font is progressively getting bigger and bigger with each mix, in part coming to my attention trying to follow Elemental Creation behind the giant 300+ combo. xP Either I'm crazy, or I missed/ forgot the time someone already brought it up, I guess.
