So, last night I got convinced to go clubbing. I was in my Statistics class last night and my friend texted me and asked if I wanted to go clubbing with her and some friends from the Korean Student Association. Originally I told her that I didn't think I wanted to go, but that I would hang out in her dorm and keep her company while she got ready.

So once class got out, I went over and we started chatting while she was picking out an outfit. One by one, more of her friends came over to the dorm and they eventually convinced me to go with them to the Highland in Hollywood. We left at about 10:30PM to drive to someone who lived within walking distance of the club's apartment, but because of a mistyped street name, we ended up in a really sketchy part of L.A. before we finally realized that the person has misspelled the street name. Finally we arrived at the house at about 11:30PM.

So at this point, there are six of us: Me, my friend, the designated driver, two underage girls (a freshman and a sophomore), and the friend who lived in the close apartment. On Thursday nights, Highland has an 18+ night, where they let in 18-20 year olds, which is why we went there in the first place because we had two underage girls with us. So because we had connections, we got to go to the front of the line and bypass the huge line, but the freshmen girl didn't bring cash, so I agreed to pay for her...except that she ended up forgetting her ID at home. Seriously, I checked to make sure I had my ID two times before we left the dorm and once when we were in the car, and this girl didn't even check once. So, obviously she couldn't get in (even though she comically tried to offer her bank card to the bouncer as proof she was 18, how stupid can you get?) and the night was almost ruined, but the designated driver agreed to stay with her while we went in since the club was going to close in an hour anyways.

So we get in and my friend orders us drinks. I got two midori sours, which I don't think are very strong, cause they didn't do anything to me at all, but they tasted good. While we were waiting for our drinks, a random girl came up to me and told me she thought I looked really cute with my outfit and I thanked her, but I think she got that I wasn't into ladies when we started talking. She was really nice though. So, after we got our drinks we went out to the dance floor. The music really wasn't my thing, it was kind of Dance/Hip-hop music, but I didn't really care since it was still fun to dance. We danced for over an hour until the club closed, but unfortunately, there was about a 4:1 girl/guy ratio, so I was surrounded by girls the whole time .

We left the club and went back to the apartment to find that our friend had gotten a flat tire and we would have to wait for AAA since he didn't have a jack. We waited about a half-hour in the freezing cold (Yes, even though it's May, it's unusually cold in LA right now) for the AAA guy to come and fix the tire. By the time the car was fixed it was about 3:30AM, so we decided to go where else but Denny's. I was really tired by now and the food was pretty bad so I just wanted to go home. I finally got home and crashed into bed at about 5AM.

So that was my night .

Yeah, it seems that guys have more reservations about clubbing, so the ratio isn't typically going to swing your way (unless you find a club that suits a different clientele, if you get my drift) But it sounds like you had fun, that's good

I spent this week squishing final exams and final projects together. I pulled two consecutive all-nighters in a futile attempt to finish the last of the projects...needless to say, I slept really well last night haha.

Anyways... Because I didn't get to win IIDX GOLD on eBay (for the fourth time now)
I made myself feel better by buying beatmaniaIIDX 11: IIDXRED.

It'll be here in about a week and a half to two weeks (shipping from Japan).

This will bring me to 3rd, 5th, 8th, and 9th Styles, BMUS, IIDXRED, and EMPRESS.
I'm so close to being able to make a GOLD RUSH video! (excluding BMUS of course)
