I'm sorry if this has been asked already, but is it possible to convert edits from Japanese to American?

There is no way to convert a Japanese edit in a Europeen one (or the opposite). Same goes for USA/JAP. We discuted about this pages ago.
The only way is to do it yourself... lame imo

So do i.
I hope they'll find a way to make the edits region free in the next games...
Also, there is a bunch of good songs that i can't edits because they aren't in the list (and i want 24th/32th notes >.>).

Alright, I edited the first post again.
Greaf, can you described your edits again? What do you mean when you say its an edit for lesson? Do you mean the how to play or something?
Also how many songs are in the second file.
This goes for everyone, please remember to post the region of the file.

(Yeah you played an LSP haha)
And there are many many songs on the LSP one. They are very hard, ugly (yeah some), but can train your playstyle

For the second one (DDR-ITG), our machine is dead so i don't know how many songs are on it.

PanStyle, I tried a few of your edits, they're really fun ! Thanks for your work
Someone uploaded them on the Azur Games french forum.
I kinda wish I found this thread earlier though, I tried myself renaming DARQs and Xythar (wich you can find on his yt channel http://www.youtube.com/user/Xythar) edits, and I can confirm it doesn't work.
I hope someone will find some courage to convert the LSP edits themselves, as I have no experience at all with simfiles editors

@skateinmars : Thank you
Oh wow... i checked Azur Games forum after i saw your message. I was really surprised when i saw that some players from the south where talking about my edits (i'm from the north-east). I don't even know how my edits get there but that's pretty cool :3.
I hope the player in this area enjoy them, at least a bit.
I'm still working on some others but i doesn't ruh and i'm kind of lazy :p
Also, everytime i found THE song that i want to edit... it's not on the online editor >.<
It's also sad that we can't use 2 different edits at the same time... we could do couple/unizon chart this way (there is a bunch of video with japanease players doing this).

Bump
I'm going to update this again as well as try some of the edits you guys have posted.
Real quick DARQS sent me a new pack including DDR X2 songs. He said he found a way to edit X2 songs which is nice. Remember that dif. is rated in ITG scale.
DDR X2 SONG EDITS!!!
I finished off 7 new edits for DDR X2 songs. Some of them due to you recommendations and others for local requests. Here's a list of whats in the pack:
No. Name Song Style Dif.
1. DARQETWT Everytime We Touch Single 9
2. DARQ ABD A Brighter Day Single 10
3. DARQ OMR only my railgun Single 10
4. DARQ SHV Second Heaven Single 10
5. DARQSHNE Shine Single 10
6. DARQYAAS You are a Star Single 10
7. DARQSIMW She is my wife Single 12
I hope you enjoy these

It seems to me that you can make couple edits... Well, in CS games there are SINGLE, COUPLE or DOUBLE...

I... did not know this thread existed, haha. I've been making edits for our local machine (same one as DARQs) for a while and I've got them compiled in a .dat file that should work on Japanese or Asian machines.
http://notesmash.org/edits/XYTH_EDIT.zip
Title (ITG/DDR)
Polyrhythm (9/13)
Suki*Melo (10/15)
Taj He Spitz (8/12)
Tracers (11/16)
Candy* (8/12)
Bloody Tears (10/15)
Sweet Sweet Love Magic (11/17)
We Come Alive (9/14)
Blue Rain (10/15)
Venus (10/16)
Uranus (12/17)
Saber Wing (12/18)
True Love (13/19)
Love Love Sugar (11/16)
Stoic (11/16)
V (12/17) (this is an experimental chart that uses bracket rolls, so it may or may not be doable depending on your pads)
A (13/19) (in association with DARQs)
Xepher (13/18)
more more more (9/13)
only my railgun (9/14)
*shining* (10/15)
DoLL (11/16)
DanDanDo (12/18)
Ghetto Blasta Deluxe (10/16)
Second Heaven (10/14)
Dazzlin' Darlin (9/13)
Super Driver (10/15)
No. 13 (12/17) (in association with DARQs)
B4U (10/15)
xenon (11/16)
The ratings are my best guess, they might be wrong. The edits themselves use the DDR rating scale.
edit: you can see videos ofall most of the edits being played here:

Not yet. I guess I might do it when I get back to making simfiles on their own (as opposed to for contests, edits, etc)

You're referring to this one right?

And might I ask how this happened considering that Into Your Heart isn't in that website?

It's an asian cabinet. I can see the "online" in katakana on the bottom of the screen. They probably did the ddrmax thingy => DDRX thing.

I find that a bit weird considering Into Your Heart isn't on any JP PS2 version.
