I'm surprised how many revivals there were in the Universe series. The first even has some SuperNOVA songs: cachaca, Drivin', and Kagerow (Dragonfly). Is anyone able to rip the new backgrounds for these?

The banners in 5thMIX are exactly one-fourth the size (128x40) of the last banners used in DDR (256x80). If you simply double the pixels you get a bigger banner with only slight pixelation and no blur which doesn't look half bad:

Right. That's exactly how 5thMIX displays them too. I think they should look that way in the official packs.

Since they're actual banner graphics and not the game coded to display the background behind a window I tend to look at them as a stylized approach. Like how most of the artwork for the UNIVERSE series is just artwork with no title/artist text on it.
