I have crawled this site for some time, but after finding this theme i had to register.
This is literally the most amazing looking theme i have ever laid my eyes on. I do have a few questions.
Do you have a github or some place where someone could contribute or add to the project as a way to crowdsource the project. I see that there have been long developmental delays due to lack of a coder for some time. This could possibly fix this issue.
Also, (maybe I missed the screens) But do you have a layout figured out for SMOnline. On most themes so far the UI is VERY cramped because of the text box and user names. Have you decided on a way to help mitigate this issue. I would hate your this beautiful theme to either miss out on SMO or look bad becasue of it.

I don't have github but I could get one with no problem when I get home from work. I have a coder that's doing a very good job but he get's very busy with school so he has to stop for long periods of time so it causes delays. More help would be nice so we can get the ball rolling a bit faster. ^^
As for SMOnline's layout, I haven't designed the interface for that but if I have some screenshots of what it currently looks like, I can build on that using STARLiGHT's elements.
And I'm gladyou like the project and took an interest in it. Glad to know there's plenty of peoples out there that want to help.

When I did it in TM2, I kinda arranged it a bit like Course Mode on X2
But believe me, you WILL want to use a normal, non-cover music wheel for the room selector.

The SMOnline layout looks pretty awesome. Just as long as the names don't overlap like they do in the default theme.

Oh I see. I think I can come up something nice looking for it. Ill post some stuff tonight.
EDIT: Ok well these are kind of tentative but it's what I came to from what I can see. I'm sure I'm still missing several things but I'm more concerned with getting the basic theme functions up and running first before we move on to online. They came up pretty though. ^^

My coder is busy with school projects at the moment so I'm not sure when I'll have a new update. I've been sending theme elements to him so he can put them in place for a while now. If I had a 2nd person helping out, things could probably go a bit faster.
EDIT: Alrighty Plan B.
Since my coder has not contacted me at all in over 2 months I need to try and do something to get things moving a little. I'm dropping STARLIGHT DRIVE and the other advanced features and releasing a "bare essentials" version first that has just the standard modes of play and go from there. I keep getting countless PMs on Youtube and Facebook asking about STARLiGHT and I feel bad having to anxious fans that things are slow over and over again. At least this way I can maybe release SOMETHING to the public and work on the extra stuff later. This is all assuming I can find people who care enough to contribute something useful to the coding of the theme in a timely manner. I have the theme build so far for any serious people willing to continue building it to completion. Unless someone else has a better idea(s), this is all I can do for now.

Hi silverdragon754, I'm interested in helping with STARLIGHT.
While I've been working on an SM5 theme project of my own lately, I'd be honored to put it aside for a few weeks and get STARLIGHT (even a bare essentials version) out the door.
I won't hesitate to admit that djpohly's knowledge of Stepmania and SM5 theming far surpasses my own. That said, I'm in daily contact with djpohly (we go to the same school/work in the same building), so I can always fall back on his knowledge if necessary. That, and my schedule is simply more open than his for this summer.

No its not canceled its just in hiatus because my coder hasnt done anything lately and I dont have anyone else helping. If I had more help, we could probably get alot done but I can't do much until more people lend a helping hand.

Everybody gets busy with school/work and it's tough to work on these projects so yea it stalls out alot. Slowly but surely is fine with me as long as it sees an eventual release. I have STARLiGHT's ending video already rendered thanks to a friend so at least I can cross that off the list.

You should make a list of "To DO" and "Want To Do's" and show the progress like that so everyone can see what you need, how far it is to being finish, etc...

I appreciate the hype over it but it's at a stand still until the basic coding is finished. Again, I won't set a release date until we can sort all of the technical stuff out and it doesn't look like much will get done until someone is proactive enough to help with all the coding.
