Getting back on topic, @DDRPhoenix I'd like to think that a new CS game is going to be made in the near future, or around the same time that all the content in this new game is released in the AC version. However, with the way North America has been treated recently with DDR, it leaves me to believe that we might not get a new console release. I suppose we'll find out eventually, eh?

We've been treated pretty well in the CS department. HP3, DDR and DDRII had a good chunk of X2 and X3 content that JP never got in a CS version. Either way I do agree that if there will be another CS version, this will be the game it pulls from more than likely.

What I'm waiting on is an official statement Konami as to the state of DDR AC outside of Asia. As far as I know the official statement was that there would be no X3 and that future DDR's would TBD. Well, now's the time for them to let us know.

Ahh, I have to move from Japan at the worst time. At first I thought this was a revive of a super old thread or something, but then I realized that it was a new game. Great news! Just like every other new DDR game that comes out, I can't wait to see how the interface/judgement ratings look like.

I hope so too Ben...I hope so too...They must at least make one more and I'll be happy. And going by the entire songlist of X3, that would be ONE epic DDR CS to play on! I just hope they at least keep up with the console releases. I don't see why they wouldn't. Just don't make a whole lot of copies so they can save money. I don't know how it works though with video game releases.

Yeah I know can you imagine?! And considering Japan didn't get any X2 material and we all thought DanceDanceRevolution II was the best CS release since EX JP, add all the X3 KOs to DDR II, change the American licenses to the Japanese licenses we got in game (ETERNITY PLS) and we have the greatest DDR ever!

I'm reminded of a similar question/argument, that Konami could theoretically make one huge ddr CS game with like 200+ songs, but it would cost so much to make and mass produce for sale that it wouldn't be very cost-effective, not to mention they'd probably charge a lot more just to make up for the money spent making such a huge title. For any good business, it's all about money and time invested in a product, and finding the best way to make a profit and still produce a quality product, or at least that's how I see it.

Several people buying it isn't good enough. It needs to appeal to the casual crowd, but seeing it seems to be taken by the likes of Just Dance etc...

Also you better take this somewhere else. It isn't Friday yet but this thread already have 3 pages, consisting of people debating about stuff they WANT to see (there's a thread for this), theoretical CS game and hype-ings.
