The online editor doesn't appear to be working for me, is there any other way to create edits other than using a japanese CS game then changing the .dat file?

FInally, i uploaded the videos.
Except Bloody tears edit, in the rest of the edits, I can do so much better scores, but I record the video in first time playing =( I will upload better scores the next week.

And d***, you rocks ! You made Tino And Xepher look super easy ahah.

For a first time on pad, that's solid scores and way better than mines with more practice (My best are 93.5 i think on Tino and 88 on Xepher. But i almost never pass Xepher, that's too hard for me ^^').

I played Brazen's edit one week ago on itgpc, that was sweet.

And i can confirm that too. I tried Darqs' edits on the EU cab that i play usually play on (with the DDR_EDIT_E.dat). It doesn't work here either ^^

Is there any way to convert edits made in DDReditMax2 into compatible edit files to use on X2 machines?

Save data from DDReditMAX2 as MCR file, then trim the file using a hex editor so that it's perfectly 8 kB in size. Then put it to PS1 memory card (using ULaunchELF). Start your PS2, copy the file from PS1 memory card to PS2 memory card. Then open DDR X JP CS, from the Outside Manager (blue arrow pointing left) you can put it into library. Rename, save and export to USB.

Why we didn't put directly to PS2 memory card? Because the file format is different. When we copy from PS1 memory card to PS2 memory card, PS2 will automatically convert the format to PS2 working format. If you copy directly, DDR X JP CS won't read the file.

I've been grunging through the web editor to create a bunch of my edits and a few official challenge charts that didn't make it to X2. I'll post up some links once I finish up a few more edits.

And since I have X2 right near my house, all of my edits are in the North American dat format (i.e. U.dat)

I love the fact that you can register edits to the machines, I already registered 12 edits to my local machine. Quick question, is there a limit to how many edits can be registered to a machine? Is it 30, i.e. the amount you can put on one USB?

100 max edits from what I remember from Extreme and X days. If you have over 100 on the machine it kicks off the least used edits. So if you have more then 100, play your edits at least twice then put on a new one.

Anyone broke the us/eu > jp/asia code yet? I'm really getting discouraged by the online editor. Not to mention that I have edits for the licencees and songs that aren't on the editor.
