I bet if they have X2 AC DLC, it'll show up under the DanceDanceRevolution category.

Why can't they just set up some way to do Disc Import (aka use code or something on past DDR games to download all the KO's from that mix in a format compatible for the game?) like Rock Band and Guitar Hero can do?

That would make it so that we never have to buy another DDR again.

For the same reason Pop N' Music Wii has DLC and not ANY of the DDR titles on there, it's because they simply don't like to do things that make sense.

That and they also probably feel like Disc Import would burn too much potential revenue, as unlike Harmonix, I don't see them doing too much new content for DLC.

No it wouldn't, you'd still have to buy the newest iteration to get the new songs that the game has to offer. It'd just make it easier to have all the songs in one place.

Further proof of DLC. PS3 and 360 DLC will probably start being released at the same time.

"Oh god what I have dooooone?!"
Good to see a mention of the 360 version, FINALLY, looks like the universe pad design is staying though, and no mention of octo move... but then, meh, at least we finally get a mention.
Also good, they seem to have kept the kinect side of it out and left it to dance masters, which is nice. While I want dance masters gameplay, if I want it that badly, I'll just get dance masters.

I don't have a facebook, so I'll say it here: A (downloadable) new, less flashy interface.

I have to ask because im not really keen on trawling through 200 pages.

Whats the general opinion on these new stepcharts for this game, ive played through them all on the wii version and got the stepfiles to double check they were correct and it seems to me about 90% of them are just well... pretty bad and look like they were autogenerated with dancing monkeys (Except with actual mp3 cuts in a few cases).

But yeah, bring back edit mode or at least make good charts so we dont NEED edit mode, bring doubles back, better interface, get rid of "Groove trigger" it's not guitar hero or rock band and we dont need it to be like that, infact it will make more people think its ripping it off which it clearly is. And LET US TURN OFF THE ANNOUNCER.

Are probably the things people are going to mention the most, I have no idea how well those comments would be interpreted on facebook though because if they all just get poorly translated into japanese theres always the chance they'll get the opposite and give us more bad "Features" in the future.

I think general concensus is that the charts are a bit better than HP3 yet still nothing really to write home about. For licences at least.

I think the general consensus is to have the console games (the main series of them at any rate) true ports of the arcade games again.

America got a throwaway release of X2 and Europe's last arcade-based game was Cara Mia. It's probably going to take a petition to get a console port of X2 in Japan... so that spells a bleak future for the rest of the world. Unless Konami's interested in trying global console releases one more time. They came so close with X (even though there were missing songs on both sides of the fence and they forgot a continent).

I think Konami is just too lazy to up their precious last-gen arcade games to PS3 resolution. They still churn out arcade mixes of every Bemani series every year. They just stopped making home versions because it's no longer acceptable to release PS2 games. But at the same time, it would require WORK for them to make the games on PS3 without them feeling like they belong on PS2. It's kinda hard to explain.

its a sad, sad thing when your standards become so low for something that an entire continent not getting the game is considered "close" to a global release.
