Rhythm Game Venting Thread

The EXTREME machine closest to my house requires massive stomping to get consistent input. So fairly okay stamina at home on bluesharks = panting and dying after a few songs. -___-

The Hyper is actually a 7, which is fine.
And certainly the Another is a hard 10...but if that's the case then there's a long list of hard 10's that should be 11's.

It's not. TrueAchievements has actually marked it as being completely unobtainable. In fact, periodically checking that achievement and seeing GamerTags that have "unlocked" it is a great way to find people who frequently use gamesaves and other methods to cheat so they can be reported to Microsoft.

Glad to hear about ELPIS as most of the people around me consider it a rather easy 12 (which is does looks like), but I can't sustain that ending and would always land in the 70%...sigh I like the song though
Oh, and I forgot about Fake Time (still "fail" at this time...the double-stairs at the end are killing me on both easy or hard)
Might as well add Perditus Paradisus for it's killer ending, or Nageki no Ki with its sudden speed down (though it became easier to "remove" it with the floating High-speed in Tricoro)
Actually, these songs makes me rage even more cause I like them yet can't clear it...that's a lot more frustrating than failing a song I don't like

The 11->12 block is stupid because bs endings that just scream out "can't get higher than 78% here even if you try your hardest".

Surely you've heard that US X2 cabs are prone to pad issues...its still a great Arcade mix...just nerfed by Betson...

Yeah, I did the same thing, myself. Wasted about six hours, actually. I figured it was all over-hyped skepticism at first, but when I played it... My god, how atrocious. The cabinets of DDR X and X2 US/EU are an insult to players in the west. So I guess I've learned my lesson about not listening to people.

pretty much this. If the arcade operator actually cares for the machine's quality, Betson X2s can be decent too (my friend PFCed AIR Special with 2 perfects only on that).

If people can still AAA songs on those pads, then there is a way...just requires dedication.

It would be one thing if it was just some people, but this website said it was perfect... That's why I went. I fixed them now, but what a let down.

I find it irritating that I've lost all motivation to play rhythm games.
I either have to sweat it out and get frustrated at my homepad, get frustrated at my soft pads, get frustrated at paying $2 for supernova 2 which has iffy pads and is in a sweltering arcade year round, or pay 7 dollars to bus in and out of town to pay $2 for a game of itg or ddr x3.

I mean hell, we've now got 2 ddr x3 cabinets in the city, both in awesome condition but can I be fucked playing them?
NOPE. too expensive.


Also the community's irritating at times. And I'm irritating. And the arcades are irritating. Everything's irritating. GAH.
