Define "good melody."
Maybe a better word would have been complex melody.twinkle, twinkle little star,
H, I, J, K, L-M-N-O-P[/joke]
I'm up for some hardcore, although I can say that it's a genre that I haven't indulged myself in. I'll be willing to get into it if people can post some random links to some random songs by some random artist from a random internet site.
Gotta start somewhere right?

I got Hardcore the Addiction the other week, it's really good. Angel from the Sky / Darwin feat. Alison Wade is awesome.
Don't get me started on Darwin.
Everytime is another song thats pretty class, it gets me in the mood when driving.

Get the Bonkers albums. They're supposedly "happy hardcore", but I don't really see what's so happy about them. They're just awesome.

Bonkers leans a little towards UK Hardcore, but theres a large overlap over UK and Happy
Anyway:
Ophidian - Butterfly
Art of Fighters and The Stunned Guys - Eternal
Ophidian - The Middle Children
Here's a basic hardcore song
Neophyte - Army of Hardcore
Just a few to throw out.

What are you talking about?
DJ Chucky's 10 Years of Chucky Pt2 is also pretty good. He also was a part of Ultimate Damage which has a bunch of Hellfish and Producer on it. Probably the only time I'd listen to rap. hahah.

I'm mocking your use of an idiom that has a literal interpretation that is the opposite of your intended meaning.

Well, when it comes to hardcore, if it's "listenable," say, UK Hardcore or something like HYPE THE CORE, I love it. If it's making my ears bleed, like most speedcore or noisecore, I don't really like to listen to it. I know plenty of people do! (I'm gonna get smacked for this but) I've often though of real hardcore music as the heavy metal of electronic music.
Although he's too happy for this thread, regardless, Darwin can have my babies.

I don't listen to too much speedcore. Maybe some t pazolite or m1dy, but most euro speedcore is kinda just like "hey, lets run our 909's at 1000 bpm with a random clip from a movie, awesome."
m1dy's speedcore can be pretty playful. t pazolite has a wide range of music. His harder stuff can be hit or miss with me.

I'm going to go ahead and bump this.
There's some really cool stuff I found out about.
Micropoint - My Clone
The Speed Freak - Terrorist Fans of Jeff Dunham would like this
The Speed Freak - Buttplug For laughs
The Speed Freak - 8bit-Cheese (Hardcore-Haters Mix) For Roy <3. Also lol final fantasy.
I love Speed Freak's style. His gated kicks are nice...bouncy. His songs are fun; repetitive, but fun.

Gave 'em a listen.
The Future is Ours is nice, but it took a little too long for me for the beat to pick up, and it seemed a little too off tone, like it didn't quite fit with the REALLY COOL synth melody going on in front.
Turntable Savage I liked better. The beginning turned me off, but I kept listening and it is infectious to say the least. My friend actually loves this song now, since he's big on beat, regardless of music genre.
Make em Die Slowly - lol sephiroth. The lyrics actually had a good rhythm and really sucked me in. The beat was...lighter than most hardcore I've heard. It was like a UK Hardcore track stripped of it's happy melody and then made significantly darker. Then the tone takes a nosedive about halfway through the song with a real nice heavy hardcore beat. This is my favorite of the three.
And for a contribution, one of my absolute favorites from Mungyodance 3 in the full:
Sensory Vision Part 2 - CLSM feat. Ant Johnson
Get's a little UK Hardcore-ish in a few spots but it's got great hardcore beats throughout the song. Remember to listen past the beginning though...

The bass distortion harmony? Yeah, that's one of my beefs with the song. It's too sharp. A semi-tone down would probably sound better.Quote: DJ OMiY

It would probably sound better if it weren't on youtube. A lot of cymbal action going on in the breaks, making it sound pretty noisy. Gotta love shitty youtube encoding.
EDIT: Oops, that wasn't supposed to be a bump. Oh well.
