On the other hand, I find it a little hard to believe they'd put in the SMiLE.dk one.
How come? Given their presence in the last couple of years of DDR, I'd say it's a fair bet. Though I'm hoping for a cover so it doesn't look lop-sided against CAT'S EYE and HOT LIMIT.
Edit: (2008 X-Edit)?

Very unlikely they'll revive a DDR X song in MUSIC FIT.

You do realise it came from the official website? That's the only size you are going to get for now.

Hay guyz! *awesome* You see these two Classical songs with the pandas on them?
「ウイリアム・テル」序曲より ("William Tell" Jokyoku Yori)
「カルメン」前奏曲 ("Carmen" Zensoukyoku)

Zoom in really super close and you can see that the two artists are...
MC F 40
ヴァイオレント・ストリング・アンサンブル (VIOLENT STRING ENSEMBLE)
Some may already know these songs from Dancemania Classical SPEED!!!

To be fair, Dancemania tracks of classical songs don't really count and probably was very cheap to license.

why would be cheaper than the normal Dancemania SPEED Licenses?
anyways it's cool to have Classical Tracks again, I just want that those songs will have good stepcharts (Like NO.13

But still...They already had a cover of Tell they could've used from Jubeat Ripples, but they went out of their way to license the Dancemania Classical SPEED one.

They might have just licensed them directly from the labels too instead of Dancemania, Saifam or whatever. Wasn't Speed Over Beethoven on Classical Speed too?
If the licenses were dropped from SN for X2 AC, then they might be looking into some new ones that people would enjoy. I hope these 2 at least appear on X2 AC, otherwise it seems like a waste for just using them on a home release.
I'm hoping we see a few new KOs in this to replace the Furu Furu content that was in HP3.

Speed Over Beethoven was on Dancemania SPEED 9 & Classical SPEED. On EXTREME machines, the CDTitle was listed as it being from SPEED 9.Konami licensed SPEED OVER BEETHOVEN directly from SPEED 9, Remember that CARTOON HEROES was on that SPEED version, and if i'm not wrong IRRESISTIBLEMENT too (i'm not sure) so i don't think that they think on Classical SPEED in that time
Another popular thing on EXTREME AC was that old DM licenses from previous versions had a generic CDTitle

You Are A Star's Basic chart on here is different than the X2 version simply because it was made for that diagonal arrow gimmick. I remember playing it once and wondering why there were those sections that were nothing but right 4th notes and left 4th notes. Play it with Gimmicks, and you'll see that what those sections become are left, up left alternating 4th notes and vice versa for the right ones. The diagonals are also thrown in other spots throughout the song too. This is the only chart that I've noticed this kind of change on, as roppongi Evolved and Kimono Princess's Basic charts are identical to the X2 charts.

Unlike HP2, only about 10% of songs have that kind of requirement. Even then it's not like Free Play has hand markers anymore so in theory it's at least 50x easier to do than before. Especially with a song like Be With You, it adds a welcome challenge element to an otherwise easy song.

I agree, but what about kimono princess, roppongi, or pluto? these songs are easy without gimmicks? I was talking about these songs T_T

I didn't say they were. On the flipside, people complain about the lack of challenge. PtF having a gimmick requirement would be overkill IMO, but the other two IMO are fair game. Osaka Evolved had requirements in the last game, so I wouldn't put anything past ONE of the three boss songs requiring gimmicks.
roppongi actually isn't that hard in the grand scheme of things unless it picks ver. C. Kimono actually takes some effort. I'm gonna venture a guess and say that if any of these have gimmick requirements it'll be roppongi Evolved since it's the easiest of the three songs.
And as I've stated before, Free Play has no hand markers so that essentially removes a decent chunk of the challenge on it's own.

Ratings for the licenses. Tons better than HP3's licenses for sure, although they could have thrown a few more 8s in there. Luckily for us, both the Dancemania Classical Speed songs are 9s :3.
