It's not the fact that there is an announcer, it's the fact that he really talks too much and is too loud. I can deal with the Max-SN2 announcer; hell, I can deal with the 1st-5th Mix one. But the X announcer makes comments at really inconvenient and/or nonsensical times.

Think of it this way: On a music album, would you want the drums to be exceptionally loud, be played entirely in 16th trills during parts where a guitar and/or bass should be prominent?

I know the announcer is bad, but some people think the announcer completely ruins the game when most people who've played X assure that you learn to tune it out with time.

Likely Photoshopped... The guy on the X2 cover looks like he has a deformed right hand.

Heh, I just realized. Now that we have "Freeze / nc ft NRG Factory", we only need a song called "Voltage" and a song called "Stream" to match a song to each spectrum of the groove radar.



Looks like Konami showed off HP3 at Konami Gamer's Night in Brazil. "Just Dance" was playable, so they have updated the demo.



btw, Just Dance has its PV and you can see that the girl is playing on "difficult" on the balance board mode, which means that the balance board will most likely get full charts (At E3 only beginner/basic charts were selectable)

Also as always the Hottest Party NTSC box art is fine, what's betting this gets changed needlessly again for Europe? Seriously moan about the NTSC box art for the Hottest Party series all you like but it is FAR better than the crap Konami have been giving us and I'd happily swap. Also Konami finally did what I wanted and added in a bloke in the background instead of it all being girls like in the HP2 NTSC art. Just a shame he looks a bit stupid rather than being a normal average guy like on the back of the PAL HP2 box or the one featured in the box art for Dancing Stage Party Edition.

On the flip side though the HP3 art with the X2 title and Wii references photo-shopped out just looks stupid. The orange and purple colours clash horribly, couldn't they have at least re-coloured the art a bit?

At least it's not another single woman with her hair flailing about like nearly every PS2 DDR has been. I wonder what the Japanese box art will be like. (better)

After watching the video, HP 3 seems like it's theme is bubbles. Sounds bubbly, looks bubbly.

Well since it runs off of X we will probably get Party Mode/LAN Play which is actually pretty fun to use.

The Cover Art looks nice. I thought Konami took off the Multi Platform status on DDR 09/10 why do the have almost the exact covers,

Seems like were getting a new mode called Kids mode or its going to be just the beginner charts of the songs.
Also Lesson mode seems like Training mode from what it says. Hope the bring the MAX-EX2 Lesson mode back.

The box art is not awful, but I can’t be the only one who’s getting tired of “the girl on the panels style.” They are pretty much going to be the same game, so having the same box art is not to surprising.
