The Official DDR Accomplishments Thread (Read first post, NO STEPMANIA OR ITG)

Damn DrD...I saw the video and I gotta say...that WAS some sick shit like Kon said. And Kon, great job completing DDRMAX! You must be proud.

Now for me, I have some things that aren't nearly as impressive as what Derek and Kon did. Plus I haven't been playing DDR for a bit (too much Dance Central lol).


Yeah, the expert chart is a ton more fun than challenge.


Very fun chart. I love songs that have triplets. Lots of skippin'. lol.

I'm still trying to figure out the time lag on my stupid TV since I moved to another room.

Threw in MAX2 to try to get all MAX2 exclusives on Doubles next. WHAT THE HELL. How have I not noticed how poorly synched/stepped some of these charts were? Right off the bat I ran into issues with almost any exclusive I played. Some are just stupidly difficult (STAY) while some have drift/synching issues (NOTHING GONNA STOP). Anyways I got four when I played last.

AAA#913 - NOTHING GONNA STOP. Drifts once it gets to the bouncing balls background and gets back on sync once it gets to the closing arrows.


AAA#914 - BABY LOVE ME. Nothing out of the ordinary on this one. Just has a very strange ending with oddly placed gallops and jumps. You have to see the placement of the last jumps, its pretty silly


AAA#915 - A MINUTE. Easy. Probably the only exclusive that is straightforward from beginning to end.


AAA#916 - LOOK AT US. A synching nightmare. Started with 32 Greats (lol) got it down to 12 and then got the AAA. You have to just get very lucky and pay close attention to every single note in this one. Tends to drift early.


So ya, that's all I got when I played. Got More Then I Needed To Know and The Whistle Song black flagged so I expect to get those next time I play. Not sure if I will be able to get the last three on this run of MAX2. I'll probably need to come back after I get more acquainted at Doubles.

To quote what I wrote on AIJ which is to say quoting what I wrote on Facebook, I found a DDR Extreme machine in Saitama, yay. The 1P side is okay, but the 2P side L and R are borked and you have to stomp for them to register which means freezes are out of the question. Monitor was a bit blurry and warped but usable. Thank god these 16th runs were all U+D

so yeah in terms of difficulty, Horatio < KIMONO PRINCESS < SILVER DREAM. Horatio only took 2 tries (I wasn't even being serious in the first one).

Played some SN2 recently thanks to a friend letting me borrow his kit. I am working on getting Under The Big Top its own SN2 kit atm so we'll see if this mix becomes permanent. Anywho I got 4 AAA's. Only two were new though, the first and last were just improvements.

Two Months Off PFC AAA improvement

Going to try to get the world record on this one I think. Got some really good runs where I have gotten over 150 Marvelous in a row. I usually mess up at the very end on the step-jump-jump segments. If I can figure out the correct timing on those I could probably get REALLY close to the WR, or get it.

I'll probably be playing more on Sunday. Depends on how much I finish my projects though. Already know what I want to AAA... Uranus Challenge and Arrabiatta (which I kept flagging).

@Zowayix Not to take any credit away from that video, but getting a FC on H-D-V is only hard because of the crossovers at the end. Anyone that does it deserves recognition, but it's not that hard to do. inb4 im wrong somehow.
