What are your experiences with Pump It Up? =)
So far, I've only played one type of machine...Pump It Up Premiere 3.
It's pretty fun and the pads are nice...the game itself is a bit more lenient than DDR; Doubles/Half-Doubles/Nightmare is......ANOTHER story. <_<
The best I've done on that machine was pass Chicken Wing (CRAZY).
I love that song. ^^

Experiences? I LOVE THE GAME! I even own Exceed at home.
I'm not as good on it as DDR/ITG, but I'm better than most in the area. ;)
The best song I can pass in the arcade is Maria CRAZY, and the best song I can pass at hoem is Join The Party CRAZY (I can just sit on the arrow then

Ha, I haven't had many chances to play PIU.
This one Cici's Pizza in my town used to have a terrific-condition PIU Exceed (50 cents for 3 songs), but they went out of business and the machine has vanished into the aether. Another rather popular place had a Prex 3 (which really sucks compared to Exceed, imo) but that went away too so I don't know anywhere that has it.
The hardest song on there I passed was Dr.M on the easy difficulty; it was like a 4 and had some 16ths thrown in IIRC. Yeah I didn't play anything very stamina-challenging because I'm still getting used to the pad locations. I really want to pass Csiko's Post on Hard, because it's my favorite song. Exceed doesn't have 1.5x though, and playing 2x on 180 BPM is a little rough on unfamiliar charts. "Jump jump jump, jump jump jump FAIL"

Well, here in Brazil, I only play pump because the pad of the DDR nearest from my house is horrible...
I think I am a good DDR and Pump player...

NX is the best mix out there. Sure it has its rough parts such as insane charts and some translation issues, but I love to play the heck out of it.
I've been playing PIU since September. Exceed 2 caught my attention at Magic Kingdom and... well, now I go to my arcade regularly to play NX.
As you can tell, the experience has been... great.

I've only played a Prem2 and the console Exceed, although an arcade about 60 miles away just got an NX that I'll have to play soon enough... it's in a DX cab, but still...

i played pump zero. its so cool id rather play it than ITG or DDR. i suck though the hardest is probally love is danger zone pt2 on normal

I play it once in a while. Dignity CZ's my limit (the best I can manage is a D, so far). The hardest NM I've beaten yet is Greenhorn NM.

I’ve Played PIU Zero once. 1st time played got full combo perfects on Beethoven’s virus. (Even throw it was easy station). It’s also fun doing DDR style edits on stepmania with PUMP songs.

Best experience so far is this
We have a competition done here in the Philippines last November to December 2007. Its called GROOVE AND MOVE. And it is a Pump It Up Freestyle Competition all over the country. The official version fot the competition is Pump It Up NX. Me and my friend Nef had a chance to win the Eliminations here in Bacolod City. So we moved on to the Semi-Finals.
The Semi-finals took place in Cebu City (located an island across where Bacolod is) where we have a face-off with the best team from Cebu..And still we won..now we go to the Finals
The Finals took place in Manila (capital of the Philippines). There were 18 pairs from all over the country and we were one of them. The competition was feirce and in the end we landed 2nd Runner up [3 of 18]. We even bagged the Best costume for having ourselves dressed in Anime-style clothes.
The song we danced with our choreography were Don't Bather Me by Tashannie and Sam-I-Am by Haley

I'm gradually getting better at Pump, since the closest machine is like, 5 minutes away. I've been starting to pass 15's lately, some including Love is a Danger Zone 2 [Hard], Blazing [Crazy], and there was one other that I can't recall...

Dood, you're awesome! That comment honestly made my day! But seriously, what's wrong with Pump? It has some pretty cool songs, and it gives me a good break from 4-arrowed games. I'll probably go play this afternoon, just so I can escape the stress of finals.
