BEMANI Gakuen

BEMANI Gakuen (Translated as BEMANI University) will be a BEMANI event starting on April 24th. The event will consist of collab songs between two BEMANI artists being unlocked across BEMANI games. The participating BEMANI games are:

The collaboration artists announced are:

S-C-U and Mutsuhiko Izumi.

TOMOSUKE and seiya-murai.
DJ TOTTO and MAX MAXIMIZER.
Akhuta and Yoshihiko Koezuka.
Asaki and 96.
L.E.D. and Nekomata Master.

These are the ones I'm very interested to listen to.

All the collaborations sounds predictable (but not boring!), except for Sota+Des and Koezuka+Akhuta (the new... guy?), all the rest are really predictable, because represents their BEMANI games:

TAG+U1 (DDR)
SCU+Izumi (jubeat)
wac+PON (pop'n)
TOMOSUKE+seiya (pop'n)
TOTTO+MM (RB)
Asaki+96 (GFdm)
LED+Nekomata (IIDX)

Akhuta and Koezuka might be jubeat... now... Sota and Des are the ones that doesnt fit in any BEMANI game as a pair, but if i should guess it should be REFLEC BEAT (both are being really active in RB lately)... I hope we can see the 6 songs (and maybe some secret collaboration)... in the 6 games!

(Tha lack of Yoshitaka makes me think he is DJ TOTTO... just guessing...)

Uh no. We saw who DJ TOTTO is during the live stream. He and Akhuta are new guys.

Personally i'm guessing Akhuta x Koezuka will be GFDM, and Sota x Des will be jubeat.

It would be much interesting if we have Vivian and Yukky being part of the collaboration event but heh it's just my preference.

Didn't saw/know that hahaha... I still believe that Yoshitaka it's hiding something (ala Michael a la mode), in one of the livestreams when he anounced "a new song by DJ TOTTO" (Valanga) he and Sota were joking a lot about TOTTO... but if another event proved that TOTTO its another person, i have nothing else to say xD!

Is it possible at all that this will be a massive crossover with all these songs in two games each?

It seems that all these songs will be in all participating games.

I do hope Voltex (and Danevo) will have some songs as well.
A unlock speed boost is nice but yeah.
Totto x Maximiser looks awesome and quite hard from what they said

Who's the sound director of SVB, again? If there is an SVB song they'd probably be in it given the other collabs.

But do note that SVB is a series where there are no Bemani Artists in it (not counting Dreamin' feat Ryu), so I don't see it getting any of the songs in this event unless they were remixed by other artists first.
