IIDX Home Version?

So, long story short, my arcade, Tokyo Game Action, closed down, and had their liquidation auction. One u-Haul and a large sum of money later, this is in my living room.


So... what now? I'm already working on getting several other styles than DD running on it. I'm mainly looking for feedback, especially from anyone that has worked with or on IIDX machines.

I didn't make this thread to be all "ha ha look at me" (hence me leaving out the bit on who actually signed it), but trying to find other machine owner/operators to discuss maintenance, etc...

Wow, I'd love to have one of those in my house. Same with a DDR AC machine, but I'll buy that later anyways. I've never played IIDX before, unfortunately, because all of the arcades around my area are smart enough to get a DDR machine, which is good, but too dumb to get an IIDX machine, which isn't good. Does anyone know if there's any IIDX machines around Winnipeg, or Grand Forks, or something?

Ahaha oh crap, I forgot the monitor had been signed. Congrats to you man, how much did you snag it for?

It was an auction, and it went on the block for $7,000. Tack on 13% buyer's fee for the auction house's take, then 5% sales tax... roughly $8.300.

After getting the house, some people save up and buy a nice car, or a small boat, or a timeshare. I bought a IIDX machine.

Best. Decision. Ever.

Back to the original intent of me posting this, does anyone here own one, or has worked on one? I'm obviously meeting with Andy (the previous owner), but I'm trying to get better established in the community in case if stuff goes wrong.
