I am having trouble importing songs into stepmania 3.9. I use stepmania tools to do it and when I open stepmania programs folder and go to my creations it isn't there. In fact I had to create the folder for my creations myself for songs to even show up. Now they don't show up at all. It only recognizes a song if I make my own song folder and use stepmania tools to import it too. I made my own song folder and created an sm in sm 3.9 and it saves when I create steps but not in the song folder which I created. I have no idea where these saves are going and how to retrieve them. Any help would be appreciated.

Don't bother with Stepmania Tools. Creating songs that way was way more complicated for me than writing the base .sm files from scratch.
As for where everything went, try looking in the Songs folder of your Stepmania directory, for example:
C:\Program Files\StepMania\Songs
PS: Request to move to Simulation thread?

I did that and it doesn't show up but when I go to the editor in stepmania it shows up. I tried exporting it with sm tools too and it does with half the steps I created missing.
