WHY AM I DOING THIS. I NEVER EVEN FINISHED THE X2 ONE
At least I'm clearly using the unfinished X2 theme as the base for it. As such, I'm still trying to iron out a few loose ends. Oh yeah, if you haven't heard,
Would anyone like to help? I can do most of the graphics, but any help with coding or some of the trickier graphics is appreciated. Oh and yes, I did manage to get the stage graphics done on my own this time, since the X3 ones were actually quite easy to imitate.
Oh, and there will most likely NOT be a 2nd Mix mode. Why bother reinventing the wheel when SM5 is probably flexible enough to make the most accurate 2nd Mix theme ever?

Woah, that already looks nice! I'm sure this should be easier than the DDR X2 theme because most DDR II stuff are in DDR X3. Good luck with this theme

I can rip the theme elements from DDRII on the Wii. It's pretty much arcade perfect, except low resolution. (640 x 480)

Some updates:
-Redone lifebar frames
-Slightly more consistent gradients for combo numbers (still may need to tweak them)
-Except for combo splashes, modifier indicators, and the difficulty name, gameplay is almost done.
-Starting work on main background
-Some recent changes in SM5 p4 have broken the radar a bit. We're working on that.
-Temporary group banner design (generic pattern, but with the group name printed along the bottom
As you can see, it still has severe shades of WIP (and X2). I just like being transparent when it comes to this, ensuring you can see the progress as it comes in, rather than constantly begging for updates.

Was wondering about that, lol....Also, I've got the BGM on YouTube if you haven't put it in yet, should be simple to rip and add.

Thank you. The lack of menu music rips on X2 AC drove me nuts last year.
ScreenSelectMusic is GASP almost done!

you forgot to ignore looping and set the fade out seconds in the command line of the "ripping software" so audio loop twice. I have one in my hand with no loop and no fade out. Playing it in winamp or stepmania loops accurately.

In the Groove Radar, you need to resize "Voltage" "Stream" "Chaos" "Freeze" and " Air"

The StepMania 5 default theme also "supports" widescreen (yeah, anything past 3.9 has much better support for different aspect ratios)
