The upgrade is pretty easy. You need to swap out the hard drive and disc in the Python's PS2 to get the game running. The problem is getting a kit is nearly impossible. I think Highway Entertainment was selling a whole PCB kit, but if you are just looking for the upgrade kit, you might need to watch Yahoo Auctions or something like that. Its a fairly popular mix with not many kits floating around, so it might be a while before you ever do come across a kit.

Its just a disc + dongle upgrade. No HDD swapping required.

The upgrade kit used could cost about $500ish used, but its really hard to say. They never show up on ebay or YAJ that often. The very few places I have found it new usually costs $1500+, but I haven't looked around for a kit in a while.

Failing all else find an X2 or something kit. Or just stick OITG on it and theme it or something.

An X2 kit isn't exactly easy to purchase either. You definitely will not be getting a Japanese kit, that's for sure. You might be able to get an Asia kit over here if your able to talk to the right people. You have to be very careful though, because X, X2 and X3 all run on Bemani PC, not Python 2.

Your best option (as 8ftmetalhead stated) is to buy a cheap computer and stick oITG on it, as it's infinitely customizable.
If you're looking for something non-open source you'll simply have to look for a LONG while for an upgrade kit at a decent price (still more expensive then oITG)

wall thas reasonable, plus i like ITG, but scince there is already an ITG near my home then I wouldnt really consider it, besides ive Been playing ITG for like 4 years and im kinda sick of it (with or without custom songs) I was just considering a DDR uppgrade.

That is very likely that it was purchased if it wasn't too expensive. I know quite a few people that would buy a kit easily if it was under $1000.
I think anyone would,to be honest XD
