The HYPER charts for Innocent Walls, gigadelic, and FAKE TIME. I don't like how they had both the HYPER and ANOTHER charts be of the same difficulty like that. Sure, I have somehow passed Innocent Walls [H] on EMPRESS CS and gigadelic on the 8-Dan course on Resort Anthem, but it's rather unnecessary for there to be virtually no difference in difficulty.
That also brings me to PLEASE DON'T GO [A]. I don't understand why the difficulty jump needed to be that drastic from HYPER to ANOTHER.

The scratches are obvious. I'm talking about some of the keysound placements.

Funny, i've always had problems with 100% minimoo-G [A] despite it's probably an easy 11. But that's probably Happy Sky CS's fault, who knows.
All the songs that Aegis mentioned are borderline: too easy to be an 11, but technically hard enough not to be 10s. Personally, I've always felt Nageki no ki [H] is easier than other 11s, although I wouldn't really touch its rating.

100% minimoo-G is definitely not an easy 11 for most people. The only people that probably wouldn't have much trouble with it are probably people that play something like DrumMania on a keyboard or something. I know I had to use S-Random to clear it, and I actually resorted to using Easy before I got a Normal Clear, and it was one of the hardest 5 11's in Happy Sky for me.
If only it was like the doubles chart; that would have been much less irritating.

Can anyone suggest me charts to play? Right now I'm on 8... but SPA 8s have too complicated placement (to play on keyboard )
At least, I need charts that bridge 8s and 9s. Any ideas?

A bridge between an 8 and a 9...
EURO-ROMANCE [H]
PLASMA [H]
As a challenge, you could play:
Nageki no Ki [N]
Do it!! Do it!! [N]
four-leaf [A] (do not try this unless you can handle scales)

four-leaf [A] is quite hard for an 8.
@Silverhawke
You can try:
Punch-love Kamen [H]
水上の提督(Short mix from "幻想水滸伝V") [H]
WISH(EUROBEAT MIX) [H]
TIME TO EMPRESS [H]
EXE [H]

That's why I recommend that. You'll never know how to punch without trying to do it.ポスト #72 · 2011-12-19 10:53:29pmにポスト 12.5年前

Last week I got to try out Lincle...ratings for songs are good for the most part although Black [H] is really not a 10. That song has more scratches than a 10 should have in somewhat irregular patters in addition to having a really rather hard ending...would have been nice to see it as a boss song or extra stage song instead of Shade imo.

The two of these have distinctly different difficulties. TIME TO EMPRESS [H] is much harder than EXE [H]. EXE [H]
@Silverhawke:
Troposphere [H] might be a better idea than EXE [H] to bridge 8s and 9s, IMO. That Nadeshiko song whose Japanese name I'm forgetting [H] is a pretty easy 9 that would work pretty well, too.

You are right, for some reason I always confuse Mr. T songs. I was thinking about xenon [H], which is a 9. My bad.

Nearly everyone and their mother has said this before, but really, BEMANI should really consider expanding the difficulty scale again. Maybe when we see beatmaniaIIDX20 (insert subtitle here), the rating scale will be something like 1-16 or 18.

I think difficulty scale is fine as it is. Expanding it won't make it automatically more accurate, in fact it will make it LESS accurate. Even if it was like pop'n scale, we would still be debating about a song being more 40 than 41.
Although I have to agree that the 12s department could use a larger scale, songs like Innocent Walls [H] and MENDES [B] (or Himiko [A], if you don't want to take into account Black Anothers) are put into the same level, and that's an EXTREME difficulty gap. Maybe the concept of "Flashing 12s" could be used for those extremely hard notecharts, but that's about it.
I'm talking about single charts.

BEMANI has already been confused by 1-12 scale. Re-rating is always occured in IIDX. So, why would we need difficulty scale expansion again? It will only make the whole rating go off.ポスト #78 · 2011-12-20 08:32:35pmにポスト 12.5年前
There are so many 11's and 12's that are easier or harder than the other that Konami should consider expanding the scale already. That's why.

What we need is the "Level 13" that apparently had been planned in DistorteD AC (apparently there was a voice file for it). Splitting up the 12's at like AA [A] or something would be really helpful, especially with all the 12's they have now.

Yeah, I think there are some 11's that looks more like a 10 (I'm looking at you, D.C.fish [A]) or looks like an easy 12 (staring rudely on Programmed World [A]). But I think it is safer that we do not expand the difficulty scale too large. Just 14 or 15 as the highest scale will just fine.
Oh no I shouldn't listen to the voice of Satan.
