If only Guitar Freaks set no Tight Judgement on Default, like Drum Mania.

What are you talking about there's only one Judgment type in Guitar Freaks, stop complaining about it since it's not going to change and if you're that persistent then turn Light on. It'd take out all the fun if the judging was any easier. They took Light out in V5 =_=;;

I think that the Timing windows in GF are pretty lenient.
First time I played GF, I could pass the songs just fine. Granted, I mostly got Cs, but most of my notes were still Perfect. I dunno if it's gotten stricter or not, since I played GF1st.

I think I picked up on GF pretty quickly the first time I played it in the arcade. It's a 1st Mix. I remember getting Extra Stage on my second song set, I think I was on the hardest difficulty. But I did own GH3 at the time, so maybe that helped.

Dudes, I played the US mix and it kinda feels bootleg (no offence). Maybe because it was made before 2002 (the graphics looks worse than Extreme). The songs felt gay and stuff (Cutie Pie? wtf lol) but it's harder. I'm sure the modern ones are hot and would like to try the most recent ones but so far Guitar Hero is type better *hides*.

I play Guitar Freaks on my very first-time but, it's somehow hard but fun! I always put Auto Pick so I can play songs easily. But somehow as years goes by, I remove my Auto Pick modifier and It's better to play Manual than Auto.

Oh well, it's already bumped, nothing we can really do now =\
I remember I played a GuitarFreaks machine a long time ago when I didn't know GuitarFreaks really existed. I didn't know it was an actual thing. So i played a song and failed miserably. Never tried it again.
Then I actually became a DDR fan and became interested in other Bemani games (though I haven't really played any others) and discovered the game I played was by the same people.

Five necromancy acts on threads… I understand that you are new to the site, but at least have the decency to read the Forum Rules first.
Other than that, I only played DrumMania (1st Mix?) on Tokens'n'Tickets on QMC; that is before it got shut down

Well, it's already bumped so... whatever.
I just recently tried GF as my city recently got its first(?) GF cabinet, it's a brand-spankin'-new V8 upgrade. The first song I play? Hikoki on Basic (I think it's 20-something) with auto-pick on, finished with an S. Now I'm addicted to it and can pass songs up to 50 (a few days ago I A'd Konoko on Basic and Kimagure Romantic on Extreme)

All Guitar Freaks machines are slowly being removed from California. So sad.

First of all, i would like to introduce myself as one of the newest forumers here.
I really miss Guitarfreaks so badly. It's been a long time.
My greatest GF experience was when I clear one of the best level 90s song Over There Guitar.
Very fast strumming and tiring fingers too.
So bad I can't play Guitarfreaks XG anymore.

I'd say I miss guitarfreaks, but I still play the cs's religiously. I think it's my favorite bemani game, there's nothing like strapping on my heavy asc and firing up some masterpiece silver. 7 years later I'm still trying to FC Sweet Illusion. My friends say I have a cult-like obsession with the game, and they're right- I know all 9 cs mixes better than any other series. And I was more dissapointed with V4's cs absence than Sirius or Pop'ns.
The only time I played ac was V6 at the music game convention nerdpow a few years back. Fond memories of sessioning with forum buddies
