Mine is simply a mix of the song NEMESIS from beatmaniaIIDX 6th style and its artist, D.J.SETUP. At the time I came up with this username, I was obsessed with the song and really liked songs under Taka's D.J.SETUP alias, so that's my story.

Mine is one of the more straighforward ones; got my name because of the Midnight Club series (specifically, Midnight Club 2; 3 was on the verge of coming out when I made first started using this name.) the X part is because was simply because I thought it sounded cool (I was 13 at the time ). 8I
Later on, I found out the series got it's name from the real life Mid Night Club street racing gang in Japan. , so my username came from a game series that came from a street racing gang. XP

the m stands for marathon
the f stands for finisher
32892 was my bib number from the first marathon I completed (which was the Los Angeles Marathon on 2013).
I'm not the most creative person, so this is what I came up with, highlighting a recent accomplishment that would set me apart from others.

I think the first time I started using my name began in the early days of when I came across FFR (FlashFlashRevolution) sometime in 2004. Back then, underscores were all the rage, so it started as DDR_Daikenkai. It has morphed into D_D_R_DAIKENKAI and _D_D_R_DAIKENKAI because I used to suck at remembering passwords, so I would just make new accounts. I was 11. Shortly thereafter I got rid of the underscore and started to remember passwords.
I used DAIKENKAI not only because it was my favourite DDR song at the time, but because of it's meaning: Big opinion, which I interpret as being opinionated, which I'd like to think that I am.
I also go by Souta Nanba, which was really just a randomly generated Japanese name courtesy of the days of MySpace profile additives. The initials SN, however, are both 1 letter off from my actual initials (MR) placed in reverse. Coincidence? Definitely. That's pretty much why it stuck.

SoulEdge5000 was my Youtube username back in '09. Soul Calibur was (and still is) one of my favorite games. I would find my self using the Soul Edge weapons for the characters that had them. To me, the 5000 has no significance whatsoever. I just needed something else to add to 'SoulEdge' because the 'SoulEdge' Youtube username was already taken.

something something I like touhou blah blah, feeling lazy and don't want to search the 4-5 year old locked thread to find what I actually wrote.
Normally go by pinkscones generally everywhere else since like 2002-3 (shoutout to Habbo Hotel and MapleStory), which is a mashup of pink and scones. That's it. No special deep meaning--just the color and the cake.

SokDion comes from my mom's call name. My family came from Toraja-Makassar descendants. When I was a kid, my mom usually refer me as so'dion (so'/sok means child [or boy?] in Toraja while Dion is my shorter name for Gideon). This is why "SokDion" name came out from my mind when I first entered ZIv.

This was my original username on Bemanistyle when I created an account in '07 or '08. No offense to my own username, I would use a different one today.
Fygar comes from the name of the dragon in Dig Dug, which started my interest in classic arcade games. 939 is from the name of an AMD processor socket. At that time I received TigerDirect catalogs in the mail selling motherboards with "Socket 939"; that number has stuck with me ever since.

There was a time that I played Pokemon Black and I thought it was a very good game (I was naive that time lol) and I liked it a lot when that game was released. Also, black is my favorite color that's why I chose it as my username. "4ever" literally came from "forever" and I stuck with it ever since. If only I can change my username...
Non-ZiV related or Bemani forum-related, but my other username, coDDRy, came from my nickname Cody and replacing the d with DDR.

The name PureBlue didn't originally have a meaning. I had this phase back when I was 10 where I'd change my name on DDR Freak every couple of days just because I could. I did end up wanting a name to settle on, so I just took two words that sounded cool and put them together. I quit DDR for a couple years but when I ended up coming back to it in 2007, I fell back on the name instead of trying to come up with a new one and it ended up sticking.
I did come up with an actual meaning for it after a while; it's a way to describe the way one feels on a clear spring day. Under blue skies, you feel good about everything; you feel pure.

Non-ZIv related: back in 2008/2009, when I first created my youtube username, I chose narutohero23 because Naruto was my favorite anime at the time and yes, I regarded Naruto as a hero (sigh, I don't like Naruto now) I also chose 23 so at that time I could remember my username.
IcarusNEX came from my favorite song, ICARUS by Eagle.
Some refer to me as ITORINO (found in my second twitter, my radio station ITORINO RADIO, etc); of course this came from Minara(I) tenshi (TO) hoshifu(RI) (NO) oka by DJ TOTTO.

blastlocket is a track by a band called Apparatjik. I think the title just sounded cool to me at the time and it wasn't taken, and I really liked the band at the time. I couldn't access my previous account edrianbrioul, having forgotten the password a few years earlier, or had difficulties logging in to the point I thought that previous account had been corrupted, but I've since re-remembered it and have been able to log in again on that account, so that one is an auxiliary or something now and I don't use it for anything. edrian brioul, by the way, is just an alias I've had who is a member of the Tempest Hearts club/collective/alliance/whatever/thing I made up a long time ago.
