Well that sucks! 
It's one thing to have an app removed, but it's another thing to have spent $8 for it and get what is basically a middle finger to the face.
They didn't even bother updating this!

Rhythmix will be available Worldwide for FREE on Christmas Holiday starting on 20th Dec 2012,
and Rhythmanix (US, UK, JP and KR) will be removed from the AppStore on 17th Dec 2012.
Firstly, we decided to release Rhythmanix as a substitute of Rhythmix in US, UK, JP, KR due to the legal issues of Rhythmix. However, after we have released it for a month, we found that Rhythmanix has no potential to grow in the market, in addition Rhythmix is favored by the larger group of players. According to these reasons, we decided to completely remove Rhythmanix from the AppStore.
We extremely apologize for discontinuing development of Rhythmanix.
Thank you for supporting us since our first released date.
We promise to keep adding FREE songs and Music Packs on Rhythmix.

Rhythmix, the original version that was supposed to be released in all regions, is finally being released everywhere. Rhythmanix sucked compared to the original anyway :/ So US, UK, KR and JP will also get Rhythmix this Thursday

All regions that didn't get Rhythmix(USA, Europe, Korea and Japan) are getting it now

No, you understood that wrongly. They're going to remove Rhythmanix from these four countries and they won't get anything else. They can't release Rhythmix in these countries because DJMax has the patents for the Technika gameplay. The only way to get Rhythmix in these countries is to register a foreign apple account.
