Ouch, now people not wanting to read spoilers will have to be more careful about not scrolling over them. It surprised me when I saw that. >_<
On the positive side, I don't have to worry about those complicated tags when quoting somebody.

Why the change? Wasn't HTML working fine?

With HTML, people can write HTML that doesn't conform to XHTML standards, for example:
<img src="konami.png" /> is wrong! But <img src="konami.png" alt="KONAMI" /> is correct, as the alt attribute must be included.
I'm just making it so that the code displayed on the entire site conforms to web standards.

Ah, ok. It's more noob-friendly (so-to-speak). That's good.

Just saw this, can't use my marquee'd signature now. I could have a signature as long as I want if it was 100 pixels high and slowly scrolled up, and looped.
So the [ code ] tag will create a box that contains all the data you typed in, without formatting any of the data?
Also, is HTML now impossible? This would mean no YouTube embeds.

Yeah code will do that: i.e.
And if you have a vid at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Z2ZPKGukcs, copy the part in red to:
[ youtube ] 2Z2ZPKGukcs [ /youtube]
Which will give:
There's your YouTube embed. :P

Woah! Awesome with the youtube embed feature!
You might want to give the box generated by a [ code ] tag a fixed width, because since it's width is currently affected by the content inside, the #BPM line in somg song like Dream to Nightmare could stretch the page like it is now.

I'm having some trouble getting an image to be a link. I was able to get an image to be a link using html but not BBC.
How is it done?

In my opinion, spoilers can also be used to hide large amounts of text and pictures that would make the thread long and annoying to scroll through. For these types of spoilers, I could suggest tags like:

So an example of how this would appear in a post is:
Basically, the "Show Song List" spoiler has "Song List" as the text in the spoiler tag, and it makes the post easier to navigate as well as being more organized. Then when you click the spoiler, it'll display what is contained inside of it.

It's a suggestion that I personally think could allow for more organized posts and less clutter, that's all. The current spoilers could still be kept, just include the text in the tag to differentiate them (it would also give the hint that a black-covered spoiler is different from an information spoiler from say, a FAQ).
