Honestly, you may very well have the top three in that list.
Iceland are standout brilliant, as is Sweden. Cyprus is one of the best entries they've ever sent, and Slovakia is a pretty decent outside bet. It'll either qualify and do REALLY well, or it'll stay in the semis. And the more I listen, the more I think the former.
Also the more I look at the OP the more I think "BMS copypasta". I posted almost the exact same thing in BMS!

When I first heard Sweden's & Iceland's entries in their national finals I thought "This better freaking win" and both won their national finals.
So far the favorites to win this year (according to bookies and various betting sites) Loreen is been known to be the next "Alexander Rybak"
1. Sweden
2. Russia
3. Italy
4. Serbia
5. Denmark
I think Slovakia has a good chance this year and in a good position for their semi and it will be awesome to see them make it this year, plus with most of the songs in the second semi final being ballads, it will stand out. I also hope Sweden does win this year cause if you watch Melodifestaliven (Sweden's selection show to choose a representative) It is really nice and it's just like a mini Eurovision. Just imagine what they can do if they can host it.
Cyprus does have a nice song and artist this year, I wonder how she sings live since most of the videos I see of her performing her song is lip syncing and such

If Euphoria won for Sweden, barring 2006 it'd be possibly the only winner I actually have LIKED. Italy's is lovely, too. Russia is HELL NO, because it's a gimmick entry that I just don't get. Denmark is HELL NO because it's clearly Seal's Crazy done in the style of Alanis Morrisette. Serbia is a FUCKING ballad.

Russia is a you like it or you don't entry, maybe get good votes from televoting, but some juries will disgrace it, then again it's Russia...Denmark I like as well it's nice and such, but I'm afraid that it will end up like Sweden 2010 (Remember Anna Sweden? Remember that dark day?) Serbia is a little overrated, it's the same guy who sang Lane Moje in 2004 (Which got 2nd) Serbia really wants to win it this year

If Serbia wins it it'll be like 2008 where every entry that wasn't taking it 100% seriously was booed. And then they'll send a ballad, it'll do average because of helpful neighbours, and they'll send shit pop for the next two years, a decent throwback 60s song in 2016, and then the cycle repeats itself.

Agree with 2008 being so bad, and it was a bad winner too, however there was some good songs that year I did like (Albania, Iceland, Norway, Armenia, Turkey, Portugal, etc) I think that year the big 4 didn't even try that year.
Speaking of neighbors, look at the second semi final, almost every Ex-Yugoslavic countries are in that final, except for Montenegro (Who is starting first in the first semi final 3 years in a row...what are the odds)

Bumping because I discovered Italy's entry today. omg yes.
Also, France is growing on me. But I still can't even that key change, the most awkward thing in the world save for San Marino's entire entry haha

I'm so sick of Greece... does anyone have heard their entry... a repetition of what they have sent over the recent years... 2005 and 2008 they sent the same DAMN song. I never liked My Number One (2005) or Secret Combination (2008) and I also have a strong resentment towards Aphrodisiac (2012) as well. Unfortunately they will do well again just because of this...
But I really hope Slovakia will do well, they might get their best position in their history (their best position currently is an 18th...).

Last year Greece proved that they can submit whatever the fuck they like, they'll win their semi because of Balkan backscratching. Anyway, this year isn't Greece's worst, but nowhere near their best.
Which was 2001.
AAANYWAY, as much as I'd like Bratislava 2013, I'd very gladly take Stockholm, Rome or Rekjavijk. Moscow and Belgrade again? No. Not at all.

Sweden seems to be the favorites this year according to Oddschecker, but we have to be careful still. Self-created hype has always been something the Swedish media spits out just a few days or so before the main event, and then we ended up placing ridiculously low.
Slovakia is also my favorite entry, but I don't think it will go all the way though...

Also fan favourites don't usually win. Look at last year, when Hungary, Slovenia and France bombed.

This. Even though the previous fan favourite Germany 2010 made the grade.
