Pretty much what the thread name says. The options specific to Waiei 2 such as theme color, difficulty names, etc. will occasionally reset for no apparent reason. It doesn't appear to happen on any regular basis, just sometimes it's all default when I boot.
Does anyone else who uses Waiei have the same issue or any ideas for how to stop it from doing that?

I had that happen once. I think it happened after a crash. It may have been trying to save when SM5 crashed for me which is why I think I lost my settings.

No, but that did help me figure out what was going on.
Sometimes, I accidentally boot Stepmania while trying to click on something else on my taskbar. When I do this, I usually just close it through Task Manager since I don't feel like waiting for it to boot just to be able to close it. Turns out that Waiei forgets stuff when I do that, so I probably shouldn't close it that way. and I should probably just use a desktop shortcut instead of a taskbar shortcut

Ah! Thanks for the heads up, I have mine on the taskbar too and I have closed SM5 via the Task Manager myself while using Waiei. I didn't consider that might be the issue. Must be why it hasn't been happening lately as I haven't done that in a while. Good to know!

Themes that save custom settings usually only save them at certain times, because not doing so can be very slow.
