"BACK IT UP BACK IT UP" |
It's all about the title. If you hear about a good album that you want everyone on ZiV to know about, post info here! It doesn't matter how old, new or unreleased it is, just throw it out there!
Just set it up like so...
-ARTIST: ALBUM / RELEASE DATE (MM/DD/YYYY)
*It's not a big deal to post a release date on old stuff, but it'd be nice to see on upcoming stuff.
Recently Released Stuff:
-The Hush Sound: Goodbye Blues
-Gnarls Barkley: The Odd Couple
-Junkie XL: Booming Back at You
-Panic at the Disco: Pretty. Odd.

I would assume so, as Granite has only been on a single so far. No clue what the tracklisting is yet...
EDIT: blah... that was just the single I posted It's really...
Pendulum: In Silico / May 12th, 2008
EDIT 2:Cool album that came out this past Tuesday
The Fashion: The Fashion
It's like a strange blend of hip-hop and alt. rock, and I really like it
EDIT #3: MAN! The good music just keeps coming!!!
Mindless Self Indulgence: if (just released today, April 29th, in the US)
The Presets: Apocalypso (also just released today, and sounds similar to groups such as Justice and Daft Punk)
And some other gold nuggets... The newest, free "Single of the Week" on iTunes in the US is "Great DJ" by The Ting Tings. In case you have yet to hear of them, they're still kinda new, but they got the beats to get the floor jumpin'! They're definitely worth checking out! Also, I just found a cool little song called "Elvis" by These New Puritans. They're also relatively new, but this track is already getting some pretty good recognition!
EDIT #4:The Ting Tings: We Started Nothing
Just released, and it's pretty awesome if you're into indie rock or really catchy tunes.
EDIT #5
I'MMA BUMPIN' MAH THREADZ!! :U
Check out the album Our Fight by Spacebar, cuz it's amazing, that is if indie/electronica is your thing. And I'd also like to note that Bill Hamel is actually a member of the group, so I don't understand why in Universe 2 that Breathe the Air is said to be by Bill Hamel with Spacebar. Maybe he re-edited the song for the game perhaps to make it more "dancey." But I'm thinking this album may give us a taste of what his works on DDR X will be like, or he'll probably follow his remixing style, which he has used on several big named artists like New Order, Brittney Spears and Seal.
EDIT 6: Really guys? No one really uses this thread Anyway...
-Shiny Toy Guns: Season of Poison / 11/4/08
It already sounds phenomenal with all the previews up on their Myspace page.

I would use this thread a lot, but my favorite musicians either procrastinate a lot in making new albums, or they're dead. Or the music itself is on the newest DDR game.
