I've been out of this for some time. I recently bought my own machine, a DDR Extreme unit which I probably paid too much for, but I got one and its working and in my basement. Nothing that I can't fix. I do need help if it is available. I figure this site is better than any other.
The machine is freezing in certain songs, something I have seen before a while back where the arrows stop scrolling, the music continues, and then the arrows resume (usually in a challenge course).
The other problem is not loading songs on the 1st stage sometimes and the 1st stage of some challenge and non-stop sets. A good friend told me it was either the disc or the drive, overheating possibly. This is obviously something I need to fix.
I have other issues with the machine, like the bass lights are not lighting up at all and the marquee light is out. I think the bulb is broken. In that case, what bulb do I need to get to replace that light? How much do I have to open the machine up to get the bass lights to work?
I would like getting other mixes, older or as new as the hardware allows, but I'm not sure where they would even be available.
