DDR UNIVERSE 2 (and other games!): Song Ranking

Welcome back. Today, I decided to go through and rank all 70 songs found on DDR UNIVERSE 2, from my least favorite to my most favorite. Why start with UNI2, you might ask? Well, I consider it one of my favorite CS titles released in the US, and I've also been playing a metric ton of it as of late so the material is a lot more fresh in my mind. One of my biggest projects to make, given how much editing and planning needed to go into this (almost 10 straight hours, little prep outside of a list going into this).

What I didn't mention in the video is that I wouldn't consider any of these songs bad by any means; if I had to rank them all, they'd all get at least 3.5/5, and that would only apply to maybe 4-5 songs - the soundtrack is just that good.

Let me know what you think, what you would rank the tracks, and what other DDRs I should try to tackle next (considering doing UNIVERSE, or maybe a mini-video ranking UNI2's DLC). Figured since I canned the DDR Review series, this would be the next best thing, and I had a lot more fun making this than I did with the DDR reviews - not having the comb the internet for gameplay footage is a great way to reduce stress levels, I tell you what.

Also, while I'm aware this probably didn't need its own thread, if this series gets a good enough reception, I might turn this thread into the hub for the rest of the project.

Just as a side note, I already have the DLC ranking video rendered, am considering uploading later today.
Really enjoying making these videos, glad to see the series has some interest.

I plan on doing videos for every game in the series I can. Looking forward to tackling the ULTRAMIX series.

I've not notice this till now. Some of those banners and BGs don't seem to fit the songs, for example Contra: What does a horse have to do with Contra? And pointing out Cannibale hiding boy were they lazy. I'm still trying to figure out if that is her lips or her tongue sticking out in Hey! by Tipsy.

Major kudos to LordToon// for having his art work commissioned for Ultramix 2 way to go!

I must say Sig, you have done very good with this. Looking forward to future installments if you plan on doing more like this.

i appreciate the kind words. i had a lot of fun making the video, and i'm glad to see other people are enjoying it. really gets me motivated to make another one (which i currently am doing btw, might be out by next week if all goes well).

I also find this very fun to watch, especially the one for UM3 where you also commented on each song. (Even though I wanted to see Horsemen of the Invisible in UNI1 higher than #53 as it is my fav there, though I also can understand that some may not like it due to its drifting bpm...)
