we really should make it so people are active on the forums for a certain length of time or up until a certain post count before they're able to post in certain subforums (read: this one almost exclusively).

And making simfiles isn't too hard.
DDream is a good program to start with.
(I just learned how to make them just today so lol)

Making simfiles isn't that hard, you just need to learn the basic patterning and rhythms to make a good simfile.
If you have stepmania, just make a new folder for your music to go in then put your song in then you can start stepping, but also find out the BPM.

2. Converge in discussion on pre-existing threads about various topics, like 'Let It Out' and threads on specific BEMANI games.
3. Get to know some of the Z-i-V locals; 01-angel and NewbStepper are extremely friendly.
