Many apologies if this is a repeat topic.
I've recently just bought a Dancing Stage EuroMix (v2) machine and was wondering if anyone could provide any advice on what options I have with regards to swapping over to another arcade mix with current hardware inside. I've seen videos on YouTube of machine owners showing their machines playing various mixes but wondered how easy is the swapping process and what exactly is required to achieve this? My machine is an original with the pink EuroMix disc & cartridge if that helps.
Any advice is greatly appreciated

With my limited knowledge (and if anyone else can correct me) DS Euromix is the same as the JP/US cabs with our DDR. It uses the 573 konami board I think, so its able to be up/downgraded on all DDR mixes, be it 1st mix to Extreme 8th. The upgrade process isnt too hard, just have the upgrade disc, and the Security Catridge for the new mix.
But because of how old these games are, the BEST bet is to install the OpenITG or Stepmania system inside the machine (either with a PC inside, or one of the little minimaid adapter.
Check out this thread for a good explanation of how-to, and good luck with your upgrades /)^..^(\

, be it 1st mix to Extreme 8th.
i thought its 3rd to Extreme cause 1st and 2nd are Analog so you cant use that.
unless you do some rewiring.

Maybe. But I'm fairly sure that 1st up to extreme needs new parts
But if you already got extreme cab 573 board, you can use it as is. I'm not 100% so if-in-case 3rd to extreme /) ^.. ^(\
